Actually works!
My periods are very painful.I have an active job.I can’t just take off 2 days per month to stay in bed with a heating pad, taking pain killers that destroy my stomach. After seeing an ad on social media for a TENS device, I went to Amazon.I wanted something that would hide under my clothes, and I didn’t want to spend too much on it in case it didn’t work, and this one fit those two requirements.Plus it has heat, which helps anyway, and I wouldn’t have to keep buying those adhesive heating pads because my skin doesn’t really like adhesive and they fall off easily, plus they’re pretty wasteful.(It’s not great to have to decide between being in pain or being itchy.)This device actually works! The tingling took some getting used to, but it really did take away the pain, and lasted even after the device shut off.The heat was really nice.Yes, I still had to take Tylenol, but that’s easy on my stomach.I was able to work without being completely miserable, either in pain or extremely nauseated.I just wish the battery lasted a little longer, and that you could shut off the beeping.I really have no complaints for this device. It’s inexpensive, it works, it hides under my clothes, has heat, and actually stays stuck to my skin.I’ve recommended this to a friend, and I think I’m going to purchase a second one so I can always have one fully charged and ready to go.

Lifesaver for painful cramps at work!
This works perfectly to help relieve my cramps. I am on my feet for 10 hours at work and use this under my clothes. I wear a white coat, which does helps to conceal it better but I don’t think it is that noticeable when I wear it. If I wore more form-fitting clothing, that may be a different story. The raised buttons allow me to adjust the settings through my work pants but this would not be possible to do with thicker material such as jeans.I usually need this after lunch, so I wear it for about 5-6 hours of my work day. I use an electrode gel on my abdomen first to increase the longevity of the pads. When fully charged, the battery has lasted for the whole 5 hours at work plus 30 minutes on my drive home without dying. The heat is not great. I can’t really tell the difference if it is on or off, so I don’t use it as much. There are replacement pads available but it would be nice to get more than one set. The beeping is not super loud, but my technicians can hear it when I push the buttons. Overall, I am satisfied with this and plan to buy a second unit.

I wish this would have existed 20 years ago!
I have been researching tens units for menstrual pain/endometriosis. Most of them come with wires, a weird clip on the side of your jeans or connect to a phone (which my daughter can’t have in class), or some brand I have never heard of. When I saw this one, I was excited to try it and new it would be a safe bet as we already own several Beurer items and they are great products!Beurer did not disappoint! The EM50 is a beautiful deep magenta color, the product material is flexible and has a soft silicon feel. It is a good size to reach across the abdomen and is very thin and discrete to hide beneath the pant layer. The middle piece does stick up a bit, but not noticible unless you are wearing leggings or maybe yoga pants. The heat function is a great addition that many similar products don’t have. It gets warm enough to bring a sense of relaxation but not hot enough like a typical heating pad that you would have discomfort if you were in a long meeting or class. I really wish they would of had something like this 20 years ago!I wish it had a small drawstring sleeve, like for sunglasses, to store it in when you put it in your bag to protect the gel pads (even if you put the plastic piece back on top of them).

High-quality TENS unit
My acupuncturist sometimes uses a TENS unit when he treats me, and he recommended that I get one for home use between appointments. I didn’t want to skimp on quality, so I invested in a Beurer. While you need to take some time to read the directions so that you employ the device correctly for your condition, once you have used it a few times, it becomes a fairly simple process. For my knee, the problem is not so much pain relief as it is stimulation of the small muscles around the joint. And so far, the Beurer TENS seems to be doing a good job at that. The unit is solidly constructed, so I suspect I will be using it for a long time.Very happy with my choice!

Stopped working after one month
Unfortunately the return window closed and I can no longer return it. It worked ok for the first month I used it, I only needed it for one day out of my cycle and I followed the instructions of charging it fully prior to first use but it only lasted that one day I needed it which was fine. I then charged it again so it would be ready for next month, next month came and it said there was no charge so I charged it fully again. I went to use it and itâs still saying thereâs no charge and it wonât turn on. I wish I could return it because this was very pricey and it doesnât work. Donât waste your money.
