AWESOME Switch
This little switch is awesome! Make sure to feed it 48v if you want to use POE (the included power supply does this with no issues). I picked up 4 more of these switches

Great remote poe switch for many ip cameras
Using this poe switch in a remote location maxing out near the wattage limit. I am not using the included adapter but providing 48-55v from large batteries. Wireless bridge provides remote connectivity 1/4 mile away.

No funciono,

Does not step up voltage to 48v
This unit requires 48v DC input in order to function as PoE. I did not realize this when connecting to my 12v system. It is only stated once in the listing which can be misleading. There are many similar units on the market that do provide the step up voltage capability, but this one does not, so be aware of this before purchasing

Rugged ethernet switch that appears to be suitable for attics
I have a single Cat-6 wire going into my top attic from my router, and five Cat-6 cables going from there to various wall drops on my second floor. I’ve been using consumer-grade switched (Linksys, NetGear) and I found that with the 120-130F heat during the summer, they typically only last a year or two. I would also like to mount a Power-over-Ethernet camera in the soffit over my driveway. This unit claims to handle temperatures up to 180F (which seems like a stretch) and provides POE, so it should fit the bill and the price is reasonable compared to other switches I looked at.While the instructions are just a little cryptic regarding hard-wiring the power to the switch, I hooked it up and tested it on my workbench by connecting it to my existing switch — it does what it says. When it gets consistently cooler and I get a free weekend, I’ll climb into my attic and replace the switch that’s up there. This switch is solid metal and I’m not expecting any problems, although the power supply looks like a typical laptop power supply and it’s 48V so hopefully it’s rated for those temperatures as well. I’ll give it a shot and report back if it fails — but I don’t expect that to be the case.

Absolutely perfect for what I needed.
I mounted this in the garage attic to split off of a single connection to three other POE devices (2 cameras and a WAP). This was perfect.I didn’t use the redundant power supply, but that is a nice feature. I didn’t use the Gigabit port either, but I wish I had a need. I did not like the mounting bracket. It stick out from the wall/beam too much, and I didn’t see an alternative. So that part was the most disappointing. But it’s installed in an attic that gets hot in the Summer and cold in the winter. The low profile looks perfect, and as long as it keeps chugging along like it is now, I trust it will last years to come. What is probably obvious for everyone else is that if you’re not using the Gigabit port, then you have one input and three outputs. I admit I didn’t notice that when I ordered this, but I got it for the durability, and not the expansion capabilities, so it still works perfect for me (as long as I don’t try to expand the setup in my garage/attic).

Keeps shutting off
Full disclosure the problem might be user error on my part. But when I use more than three ports this thing just shuts down and restarts. Not sure if I’m overloading it, but I don’t think I am.

Nice cooling feature
Very solid, works great for less temperature controlled areas such as your garage or attics. Perfect for security cameras or other outdoor tech around your house. The passive cooling is a very neat feature, but in order to do that it needs to stick straight off the wall instead of being parallel mounted which is a little odd but works.

The board blowed off after pluggin it with the provided power supply. Be aware that the power supply provides 52V and not 48V as stated on the said power supply. Altought it should support up to 57V. It is stated in the description but, be warned, you need at least 48v if you plan on using the POE.

Gerade in unserem Technik- bzw. Also auch hier, einstecken fertig.
