Can finally use my MP3 player again
I got this so I could connect my bluetooth headphones to my MP3 player. It works great! The sound quality is good and its overall pretty easy to use. The battery does only last a few hours but its still a pretty good adapter. For the price, I think its worth it. Would recommend.

does all I need it to and more
I wanted to use bluetooth headphones with my smarttv that has no bluetooth. All I had to do was connect and turn it on and once I set my headphones to pair it connected.(make sure if something that is also paired is not near or it might pair to that instead not sure though) Gets great sound and range for a good deal and solved the problem of me making sure not to wake others when they need to sleep or just plain disturbing them. I must say though it is kind of unreliable, as it stopped working after about an hour and I had to wait till the next day. You will get your money’s worth though.

DOA right out of the box
I ordered this so I could use my elderly MP3 player (don’t laugh, I love that thing) with Bluetooth devices, especially my motorcycle helmet. I received it, charged it, and brought it with me to work in my car to test out.I powered it on and tried to get it to sync with my car’s entertainment system. The entertainment system recognized it but wouldn’t sync no matter what. I tried it a few more times in both transmit (TX) and receive (RX) mode, all to no avail.Thinking that my car’s entertainment system might be a bit finicky (it has been in the past), I also tried to pair it with my laptop. This laptop recognizes EVERYTHING that’s Bluetooth-equipped in a 50 foot radius– my mouse, my wireless headset, everyone else’s wireless headsets, you name it. Everything, that is, except this transmitter. Like two awkward adolescents at a middle-school dance, my computer and the transmitter refused to acknowledge one another’s existence.I tried again with my phone, an older Samsung that will pair with just about anything including a set of convenience-store earbuds that are notoriously finicky. Nothing. My phone didn’t even see this thing. It also acts flaky. Sometimes it refuses to turn off even if I hold the power button down for 10 seconds or more. Yesterday I spent the entire day charging it so that I could try syncing it one last time on my ride home. When I unplugged it from the charger it turned itself on and would not shut back off despite me holding down the power button for 20 seconds at a time. I guess the battery ran down overnight because it was off this morning.I have another Bluetooth transmitter that I bought a couple of years back and ended up not using. Truth be told, I completely forgot I had it when I ordered this one. The older transmitter, a Taotronics unit that no longer has a listing on Amazon, paired immediately with my car and worked perfectly. At this point I knew that this transmitter was a dud.If you buy this, be aware that the build quality looks mediocre at best. This wouldn’t be a problem if the thing actually worked, but mine at least was a complete waste of time. I spent three days trying to get this thing to work on several different devices and had zero success. It didn’t transmit a single note of music. I strongly recommend you buy something better even if it costs a little more. This one is going back to Amazon.

Works well for music, delayed audio lag for phone calls/live audio
I originally purchased this for use as a Bluetooth Transmitter for an old iPod Classic and a pair of Bluetooth headphones (Airpod Pro’s/Beats Studio Buds +). To my surprise the bluetooth transmitter function of this device worked quite well for that use case and it got me thinking to test the device with other 3.5mm devices that i own. So, i tried the device with a PS5 controller to see if I could stream live game/voice chat audio with the device. It works well and the mic on the device also works for voice chat in game, but there is some very noticeable lag (0.5 – 2 seconds) of audio that wouldn’t make it ideal for playing video games online. The device includes options to broadcast audio over bluetooth and receive audio over bluetooth. Other options of the device include the ability to play/pause music, volume up and volume down by holding the fast forward or rewind buttons, and a mic for taking phone calls or voice chat. I imagine this device would work well for any other 3.5mm headphone jack devices you may own like a TV, Computer, Laptop to make them bluetooth capable. In conclusion this device is good for music, but for live audio like a phone call or online voice chat on a game console, I would try to purchase something that is maybe more capable of producing a lower latency lag-free experience. Overall, 4/5 stars. The device worked well for my primary use case which was listening to music over bluetooth headphones on an old iPod.Update – Works well on TV’s also. I am able to watch TV with my Airpod Pro’s or any other bluetooth headphones. Audio volume level is low on my particular TV, but the volume level seems to be dependent on which device this is connected to (different volume levels for different devices). Also be careful with the included metal 3.5mm jack that is included at it has come apart after less than a day of use. I would consider using another 3.5mm cable if possible. Good device overall though for the price.

Does not work for guitar!
I purchased this for use with Bluetooth headphones from a guitar amp, does not work because the delay time from output on amp to headphones is about 2 secondsâ¦So when you play guitar it takes to long for you to hear sound! Product might be okay with other applications as music or pc/ tv but a guitar needs to have zero delay time! 5 stars on delivery time â¦Product wasnât so much for my application!
