Good value, good cable retention, complete set
These are easy to use and look good. The pushdown was easy and there’s plenty of space to insert each cable. The instructions are clear (if you don’t know the colors by heart!) and the cable tie point works nicely. Tie the outer cable down (using the supplied cable tie) before doing the pushdown. They close nicely and work fine for thick (outdoor) cable or internal (all solid core). Includes screws and sticky pad for fixing. Recommended.n.b. I’m trying to review everything these days to counter all of the fake reviews. I bought these at the advertised price (at the time of writing) using my own money and without incentive or link to the seller/manufacturer. If you found my review useful, please click ‘helpful’ – thanks.

Very well built and unbeatable price
I had never done anything in my 60 years even close to a punch down block installation until today and once I understood what was involved and picked up a cheap punch down tool $9 just to get thru this project and wow, a piece of cake!! And it even worked after putting a block on both ends the first time! If I can do this at least with this grey well built block priced far below almost half of anything out there.UPDATE after 2 months these wonderful little punch down boxes are all working perfect. I am still kicking myself when I think of all the $$$ I spent on premade Cat6 interconnect cables.

So easy I could almost assemble them blindfolded.
I really like this product and have used them a lot when running or replacing Cat 5 or Cat 6 cables in my home. Easy to punch down and locate on walls where you’re not using wall boxes.

Works well for the price!
Ordered these to use for LAN runs in my house or other buildings. Appearance wise itâs not as clean as a wall plate, but the assembly was fairly straightforward. Just had to bus in a line and test it out real quick.I canât say for longevity or for peak speeds but for what I used it for, it seems to work pretty well.

works great
used these to run Cat6 in my new house, works better than the ones I bought at home depot to finish the job once I realized I didn’t have any RJ45 ends that could work with the thicker Cat6 cable. These are solid and close nicely, most stayed secure with just the adhesive pad (one had to be screwed down, but in all fairness the cable was too short and was pulling it away from the wall.

Simple RJ45 surface mount outlet
Nice for surface mount RJ45 outlet – includes screws that work great on plywood, but simplicity is key here for easy surface mount. Uses a very simple standard punch-down tool. Makes the job simple, easy, and quick – and works every time without problems. The inside has the keystone jack built in so you don’t need to order them separately (like you would for a wall plate style outlet).

Excellent quality, includes everything needed (except punch down tool)
Top notch product that looks so much better than the older Leviton surface mount box I had before. These come individually bagged with 2 screws, a zip tie, a rectangle of double-sided foam adhesive tape and a wire color sheet. The jack itself has a color code on it that I could not make sense of, but the instruction sheet clearly showed the pin-to-wire-color mapping. I purchased the ‘TRENDnet Punch Down Tool with 110 and Krone Blade, TC-PDT’ and it was all easy.
