The 4K HDMI loop-out delivers stunning video quality, perfect for streaming and recording at 1080p 60fps. It’s been flawless with OBS and other software, making gameplay capture smooth and crisp. The built-in microphone input is a game-changer for adding commentary or capturing game audio directly. Overall, it’s exceeded my expectations with its performance and ease of use. Not 1080p, but is still decent
So, this thing isn’t 1080p 60fps output. It IS 720p 60fps though. While 1080p does work and exist, there are tears in the image if trying to output at 60fps. 30fps is fine though. If you are satisfied with 720p (which is usually sufficient) then this is a good capture card for the money. If you want the best quality image though, I’d look elsewhere.

Already Broken
I initially left this product a 5 star review. I needed to change that after what happened this week. Keep in mind that I only purchased this capture card at the beginning of September-so, almost 2 months ago. Itâs already malfunctioning. I use the capture card with my TV and my Nintendo Switch to record gameplay which I then upload to YouTube. I also use OBS broadcasting software. The other day when I plugged the capture card into my computer, I got a message saying that âthis USB device cannot be recognized.â I found that odd, so I Googled some solutions-none of which worked to solve the problem. So I figured it must be a bad USB cord. I bought a total of three new USB cords (doubleheaded with males on each side) and with each one, I received the same message, that my USB couldnât be recognized. At that point I thought there was something wrong with my computer. I was just about to make an appointment to get it fixed when I decided to call my sisterâs girlfriend who is a computer whiz first to see what she thought. She went into my computer remotely and tried a few things-nothing worked. She started asking me questions about the capture card and I thought âthereâs no way thatâs the problem. I just bought it!â But after careful review and a lot of different attempted solutions, we agreed that it was the capture card. I also noticed that when I plug the USB into the capture card, I have to position it just right in order for the light to go on, which shows me the card is working. One small bump and the capture card turns off, even though itâs fully plugged in. I would absolutely NOT recommend this capture card. Itâs extremely enticing because itâs cheap. But itâs not worth the hassle. Last night I went on Amazon and ordered myself the Elgato capture card for $140. It was painful spending that much on my hobby, but apparently if you want a quality product without a lot of interference, you have to buy whatâs best. Again, Iâm stunned that this capture card didnât even make it 2 months. I guess thatâs what I get for thinking I could get away with paying $40 for a capture card. Good luck to anyone who buys this thing. I donât recommend it.

its fine.
Ive had mine for about 2 years and am about to replace it with something a little better, but I wanted to leave my thoughts on this capture card. The Bad:it will not do 1080p60. It is just not in the USB 2.0 specification. It will top out at 1080p30, even if you have the framerate set to 60fps. This can visibly be seen if you change the output resolution in OBS to 720p60.1080p30 is still fine, but the advertisement is misleading and also the inclusion of a blue internal usb port & cable commonly seen on usb 3.0 giving the wrong idea to consumers who don’t read all the way down the product page. Also I have begun to notice some audio de syncing issues within this last month of use, and on multiple computers running different OSes.The Good:It works. Despite the resolution and framerate issues, I still enjoyed mine for the last 2 years for capturing for my switch, ps4/5 and a different PC. Hell, you don’t even need obs to get a preview, you can also use the camera app in windows (I still recommend using OBS however). I am overall happy with this capture card, I just wish things were made more clear for the less technically inclined.
