Small, easy to install, works great
I have only had this in for a couple of weeks, but so far everything is great. I just needed a few more ethernet ports, and this did the trick pretty inexpensively. It was easy to mount, just plugged in a patch cord from my modem to one of the ports, plugged devices into two f the other ports, tuned it on and they were talking. The speed looks good…I like it!

Switch
Routers never come with enough places to plug in, this switch allowed my computers, printers and scanner to be connected direct and handle multi functions from multiple devices on my network. A must have

Dependable Network Switch
We use these for labs in schools. The D-Link brand has proven itself as a reliable brand to place in an environment that uses them almost daily.

Great for runniing a dual computer and extra router.
My main modem and router are in the basement where I have one computer system. I have a cat 5 cable running up stairs into one of the bedrooms. In this room I have two computers and a wifi router. I use this switch to run all three of these systems. It has worked flawlessly for the past couple of years.

Needed this to add my nas drive
I ran out of plug ins on my router so bought this to tie in a NAS drive, it small and easy to hide and has plenty of bandwidth for my needs.

I have a couple of D-Link products and this one doesn’t disappoint. Very much so a plug and play. I got this for a very specific use and more of a backup but works well. Easy to recommend.

Only one Ethernet cable in my office and I needed two, to transition between an old tower to a new one. I have so many settings I need that I don’t use all of the time, and I needed to have live access for whenever I need to check something.Rather than dropping a whole new line into my office, our IT support guys suggested I get something like this and I did. Straight easy plug and play, I plugged the Cat5E coming from the wall into port 5 and both (non-Wi-Fi) towers into ports 1 & 2 respectively (although I understand it does NOT matter with this switch as each port apparently senses whether it’s an incoming or outgoing signal, I just did it this way for the heck of it).And voila, they both now have excellent Internet access! This switch also appears to be robustly made, very happy with this purchase!

A great little device, but don’t be daft like I am: a “fast ethernet” switch doesn’t mean a gigabit switch, it means a switch that caps out at 100mb/s. Perfectly serviceable for a home network, and I highly recommend D-Link as a company when it comes to unmanaged switches, but wasn’t what a speed cap I was expecting to experience when I bought it. Which is entirely my fault – it pretty openly says it.
