Good purchase.
I was a little nervous about buying a refurbished computer but am glad I did. The instruction sheet was easy to follow and the computer works just like a new one.

Excellent home office desktop system
This refurbished Optiplex 5060 with Windows 11 is an excellent value if your primary purpose is a home workstation. For the basic tasks, it is very fast/responsive. Installation process was very simple. If you have an existing Microsoft account running on multiple platforms, the install process grabs your one drive files and website settings seamlessly. Also comes with CD drive (not specified in the system description). Has display port settings, so you’ll need an adaptor for HDMI monitors.

Does the job…
Ethernet connector unusable. Hesitates, does not work smoothly. USB’s work ok, not great. A lot better after reset/reinstall of Win11. USB-A wireless network adapters can’t hold connection. USB-A Ethernet adapters work well. Onboard ethernet as stated, works poorly. Installed pci-e wireless network and bluetooth card: Both work well, hard to find the bluetooth connector on MOBO. Windows 11 can’t see itself in NETWORK. Epson printer also will not appear in NETWORK, except as a print/scan/fax device. Maybe the router.

Be Careful
These machines are great machines if sold by people who KNOW how to correctly sell them. First of all unboxing the machine I found there was a card that had been removed prior to shipping. This was evident because they forgot to replace the blanking plate that is removed when a video card or other card is installed. Turns out this card was a video card. This means that I have to use the native video ports (display port) which was changed when the card they removed was programmed in BIOS to use that card not the native video onboard. So now when I plug in the display port adapter NOTHING is displayed on the screen. This means I have to install a video card and go into the BIOS change back to the factory video setting which would then allow me to use the display port.Turns out the reason they were using an independent video card is because the onboard is dead!!

Refurbished but works like new
Excellent for everyday computing and casual gaming. I play WOW and the on board video is OK, but the frame rate is low. This is a SFF computer so video cards are difficult to find for it. Dell recommend the Nvidia 1030 which I had; however, it had a full sized panel plate. Solved the problem by taking my Dremel tool and shortening the mounting plate. Now frame rate and video is much improved. If you are going to use it for “normal” computing tasks it is excellent. No problems and have been running it for almost a month now. It does what it is designed to do. NOT for anything but casual gaming. Windows 11 Pro installed, but no back up provided.

Great product
Received in great condition. Looks like a new unit. Unboxed and set up in no time. Even had HDMI put that was a great surprise. Works like new. Windows11 . Fast shipping. As shown and a little better. Go people to do business with.

No HDMI ports
I couldn’t even finish hooking up the computer. There are two Display Ports in back but no HDMI.

Refurbished value works great!
Capacity more than enough for home use ( some small biz use too). This is essentially a corporate version of the Inspiron so you need a quick tutorial on the few differences. Great value.

C’est parfait pour l’utilisation que j’en fais, je n’ai eu qu’àle brancher et l’enregistrer sur mon compte MSN et l’affaire était ketchup.Beaucoup moins cher qu’un neuf et très fonctionnel.
