Wow! Never thought window could be user friendly.
Bought this computer for picture design. Perfect! I had issues splitting SSD, but after numerous times, finally got C drive to the size papa bear was happy with! Windows 11 Pro answers all question, no need for books! Really surprised. Got a killer WiFi, great graphics card with 8gb dedicated to graphics, yes!Naturally, now Iâm wondering if I can add a SSD to the computer!ð

I’ve had this unit for 3 months, a few things to note.
First off, 32mb ram isn’t enough to game. I bought two 32 sticks of ram that were meant to over clock and use for gaming. That got me to my goal of 64. Second, after the first use of the slot in front to read memor chips, it stopped working. I have an external one to plug into the usb, so I just switched back to using that. Otherwise, after the memory upgrade it works nicely. It would be better if it came with appropreate memory, that would have saved $300.

Itâs a Dell XPS
A Dell XPS for cheaper than I can buy it from Dell? Well I double checked everything and it checked out perfectly. Great machine and should last a long while. I purchased the i9 with 32g and 1tb ssd. Very pleased! Windows 11 pro, and great graphics card. Nice! Thanks Amazon! And Dell of courseâ¦

Crash Course in Customer Service
Bought this computer for home use. Everything went fine until I decided to do mandatory updates. Computer crashed to black screen, beyond recovery. Returned to Amazon for a refund (still waiting). Decided to take a chance on a second unit because I had good luck with Dell in the past. Set up and recovery of my cloud files went perfect…then went to Dells own website for updates. This time did critical updates one by one. Very first one, BIOS update, crashed the unit again. This time, called Dell support to let them know that their own updates are the problem. Tech support clearly from India, not understandable, not interested that their own process is the problem. After the usual reboot tries, the inevitable turn it in for replacement. Now have to return to Dell before they send a replacement because I would incur a third $2500 charge to credit card without having received a refund yet. Dell says they guarantee replacement will not have same issue, but I’m not very confident and now I am in limbo for days? Weeks? Until they process my return and replacement. So you think they would offer something for my trouble, upgrade? Discount?…nope, “we don’t do that”. Remember that quote when dealing with Dell.

Makes me feel stupid…
This is my first computer with two internal disk drives, an SSD and HHD. Everything is installing on my SSD so now my 512 GB SSD drive is almost full while my HHD drive is empty and now it is saying my One Drive (cloud) has no memory and wants me to purchase more??? It needs to manage these storage options automatically for those of us not accustomed to doing it manually.

Damaged
The case was received damaged in the rear. The top section where the case lock is located is the damaged area. Iâm hesitant to open it because I donât know if it will close and lock again. This obviously should not have been shipped in this condition.

UNABLE TO GET SELLERS HELP
I tried writing to the seller(3rd party) mistake # 1 instead of buying from Dell, second mistake unable to receive premium service from Dell to try to fix the ticking fan noise that has become very annoying because the seller never transferred the service to my name, third mistake purchased March 23, 2024 and for a top of the line computer already having problems. This is aq warning pay attention to the seller since on the retail page it says VISIT DELL STORE but not Dell

Purchased this for photo editing and works solid with any and all software. I wish I would have had option for additional internal memory but that was also easy to do myself. Good machine.
