Whether you’re using it up close with infrared or from a distance with Bluetooth, you can manage your projector from any position—no direct aim needed. Unlike inflated figures, authentic lumens provide consistent, accurate brightness for home theaters, outdoor movies, and varied lighting conditions. We hope this transparency builds trust, ensuring users experience vibrant, clear, and immersive visuals, truly getting what they pay for.

Iâm REALLY impressed with this projector!
Iâll admit, right up front, that I donât have a whole lot of experience with video projectors. The only time Iâve had one was when I bought a REALLY inexpensive one in order to make my Christmas display characters. I bought the cheapest one I could find and basically used it as an overhead projector. When I ordered this projector, by AURZEN, I really didnât expect it to be THAT much different than the el cheapo one I bought before. BOY, was I wrong!First of all, this projector comes with a remote, which makes the entire process of setting it up and showing anything on it a LOT simpler than having to do everything on 4 little buttons located on the unit itself.Secondly, Iâve got to tell you how exceedingly simple it was to get it up and showing movies on one of the main streaming platforms that starts with the letter âNâ. Iâm not sure if Iâm supposed to mention the name⦠so, to be safe Iâll leave it at that.It took me less than 5 minutes to get the projector logged into my network and then logged into my âNâ streaming account and have it showing a movie. It was SO very simple and intuitive to get it set up and running. Being a typical guy, I didnât bother reading the instructions. It was really THAT easy!Another thing that I really like about this projector is that it has auto-focus built into it. When I was setting it up, I didnât have a screen⦠so, I projected the image onto a white door. It actually auto-focused on the door and I got a remarkably clear, bright picture cast onto the door and wall. The sound quality isnât the greatest, but it was surprisingly good coming from a small speaker located in the unit. Iâm comparing it to the 8 speaker setup I normally use⦠so, I doubt if any one speaker is going to sound quite as good as an entire audio system. I havenât checked into it yet, but Iâm guessing I can output to my audio system if I wanted to. But I donât plan on using this in conjunction with my audio system, so itâs a good thing that the speaker is adequate. To say that Iâm pleased with this projector is an understatement. To say that Iâm impressed is getting closer to hitting the nail on the head!I had a video I was going to upload that shows the brightness and clarity of the image this projector casts, but, after thinking about it, I’m afraid it would have shown material that is protected by copyright laws.

Great Projector For The Price
As I review this, the current price on Amazon is just $150 if you add the $50 coupon. It’s $200 without coupon.I was surprised at how premium the packaging is. It looks like it could be LG or Samsung packaging. Very glossy and highlights some of the details such as being Netflix licensed and having Dolby Audio built in.Inside you’ll find the projector, the remote and the power brick. The packaging is pretty much all recycle-able which I appreciate. On the inside flaps of the box there is a quick start guide. This is very easy to setup. There is no Android OS on it just a basic selection of streaming apps like Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube. You can download more but I just connected my Fire TV Stick which was easier and probably more reliable. The picture is 1080p natively and the I find the picture quality to be more than adequate. It’s not going to blow your socks off but it looks sharp enough and the colors are rendered nicely. I have an ALR screen on my wall so I have been using that and I really like how this looks. The brightness is just 350 ANSI lumens which means you’ll struggle to see anything during the day unless you are able to blackout your room. Even my other projector which has 2500 lumens struggles in brighter light. At night this projector does a find job.The audio is pretty good with the inbuilt 20W speaker. The Dolby Audio I think helps here. Spoken word in movies or shows sounds crisp and easy to hear. Sounds of rumbling and explosions can get a little muffled and it lacks bass. You can connect to a bluetooth speaker for better audio though I did experience a slight delay in audio over the video playback when using the projector without the Fire Stick. Connecting the fire stick to the bluetooth speaker helped again.Other benefits are the auto ficus and keystone correction. Both work well enough, though I did find the keystone off a little and had to manually adjust. I think this is more related to how I have positioned the projector in my room and may not be an issue for most people.I honestly don’t think you could get a better full HD projector for $150, it’s really an absolute bargain at that price and you get a lot for your money here.

A treat
This projector is a treat. I wanted something I can move around and use anywhere and this absolutely smashes all of my expectations.Operation was super simple and self-explanatory. The on-screen UI is elegant and easy to use with a layout that makes sense. There are auto-functions to make setup simple but in my case I like to setup keystone and focus manually, and you can easy do this. Having native Netflix and Prime video is worth it alone. It’s a royal pain to have to connect another device just to be able to stream Netflix and the like, especially when you can’t cast on your phone due to copyright reasons. Picture is good. There are different modes you can cycle through with a “custom” mode which saves your picture settings (this is what I use). An earlier review mentioned that the picture settings do nothing, but in order to actually see the changes you have to be viewing some material that is not the main menu by adjusting the picture settings via the remote control using the button that sits in between the F- and F+ buttons. Sound blew me away and is probably best in class for built-in speakers for this type. I cannot believe how good this thing sounds. Get a tripod and you’re good to go. I can’t really find any cons for this device at this price point.

Aurzen has built a pretty impressive mini-projector in a small form factor with this unit, and compared to some of the other 1080p models on the market that I’ve tried, it’s well worth the $200 CAD price tag (with a $100 coupon applied) at the time of this review. It has a number of features that are leaps-and-bounds better than the $120-140 projectors I’ve used, although the mounting system could be better.POSITIVES / GREAT FEATURES:1. Sound quality onboard is nothing short of fantastic for the size. The other mini-projectors I’ve tried just below this price point frankly struggled to output reasonable sound and were often muted or overpowered by the projector fans (which are loud on all of these units). Not an issue here – the onboard speakers fill the basement with ease even at low volume. One point of note: the main volume increase is notable between 0 and 50. There is very little perceptible difference in volume between 50 and 100, which is odd. That said, 35 is MORE than loud enough in my open basement, so the odd scaling doesn’t really matter.2. Setup. This has a step-by-step integrated setup that walks you through; no mysteries here. Menus are clear, and the settings are simple to navigate. Navigation can be done by surface-mounted buttons or the included remote.GOOD, BUT COULD BE BETTER:3. Automatic focus and keystone. In theory, this is very much a point-it-at-your-projection-surface-and-go projector. Very little messing about is required if everything goes smoothly. However, especially in brighter environments, it can sometimes fail to fill the projector space, so there are some manual controls available through settings. Unfortunately, there is no manual projection size setting so if it doesn’t manage to correctly get your screen filled, it’s a matter of trial and error to get it close. It’s easier in darker settings.4. Bright, but not bright enough for daytime use without limiting ambient light. This can be an issue even with extremely expensive projectors so I’ll be forgiving here, but be aware that if you want to use this to replace a TV in daytime, you will need to darken the room.5. Included software package. Yes, you can input your login credentials for Netflix, Prime, etc and some other apps included or downloadable, but it doesn’t appear to be Android and I’m not sure how much I trust the software it comes with. I opted to use an HDMI cable to a PC, or a Chromecast, both of which work great.CONS6. Power is via an included switching adapter brick, much like a laptop charger, that uses a 29V 3.8A (110W) ouput which is an unusual configuration. Strain relief on the brick isn’t great either, so I worry that the cord could fail and finding a replacement adapter could be a serious inconvenience.7. Mounting system. They’ve included only a 1/4″-20 screw mount for a camera tripod, which works fine for portable or upright use but is less than ideal for a ceiling mount system. It would have been preferable if they included both the 1/4 and the universal 4-point screw mount system used by most larger projectors.Overall, a great little mini projector at this review-time price point of $200 CAD. If priced higher, I’d recommend shopping around as there are some limiting features here that could be better, but at this price the video/audio experience is top-notch.

This projector is amazing, fantastic picture quality and sound. I really love the auto focus on boot up. It saves a lot of time when comparing this to my old projector with manual focus. It has wifi with a few apps available…Netflix, Amazon Prime and PLEX! Love having Plex available. I just plug in my tablet for Paramount+ and Disney+ etc. I love this projector and it has well surpassed my expectations. We use this all the time outdoors, in the back yard and even on camping trips. It’s much smaller than my old projector and better in every way.

Pros:I have tried a couple of projectors within the same budget. The difference is like night and day-this one is so bright and clear, even with lots of ambient light. It’s perfect for dim movie nights and even the odd daytime viewing. It sets up with both WiFi and Bluetooth without a hitch. Netflix and other apps stream with such ease-no annoying cables or additional devices in sight. It has Netflix and Amazon Prime Video apps right inside; I don’t need to plug in an external media streamer. Jump-starting my favourite shows is a piece of cake. The remote is fantastic too, offering hot keys for both Netflix and Amazon Prime Video and more. That makes it really easy and fast to switch between my favourite content.Every time I moved positions with the projector, it auto-focused in an instance-the most convenient feature. It was always sharp and in line without anything to adjust at all.One thing I just cannot believe is the sound coming from the speakers mounted on it. Immersive Dolby Audio complements the bright and clear visuals so well. The projector is excellently made. It feels well-made and sturdy, giving it an extra premium feel.Verdict:I tried this side by side testing another projector at the same price point, and I just swear there’s a whole world of difference. Immediately, its great built-in app suite, which includes Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, the D1 PRO has great brightness and it sounds amazingly good from its onboard speakers-a leader among the competition. Added to the extreme ease of use, the nice build quality with dedicated app buttons on the remote is a remarkable feature. But if you want to upgrade your home entertainment setup, this is a very brilliant choice.

This projector comes smartly boxed with everything you need to get it up and running – see my pics.Really easy to set up, I just plugged in the adaptor (which is quite large), put 2x AAA batteries in the remote (non supplied), and switched it on.It then automatically optimises the picture including focus, alignment, keystone and obstacle avoidance (in my case a socket on the wall) – all very clever! You need to sync the remote to the projector, and then add to your WiFi.And that’s pretty much it.So far I’ve tried YouTube, and I’m pleasantly surprised by both the picture and the sound. You can also access Netflix and Prime directly on the remote, or use the USB sockets or HDMI socket on the side for wired connection or a dongle/fire etc. With my initial test I had a nice bright picture – 140cm diagonal, at about 160cm distance wall to projector (see my pics where it automatically adjusted to avoid the socket on the wall). The sound is also surprisingly loud and clear, much better than I had anticipated for the price. The fan is a little on the noisy side, but only really noticeable at low volume.Considering the price (currently with a large discount as I write this review) I’m really impressed.

First thing is this is not going to be bright enough to pint on your dark wall in the middle of the day. You can point it at a dark wall with nearly completel darkness and be able to see a good image but not at good as if you had it pointed a proper projector screen or light wall.It gets impressively bright for the price and the speakers are amazing, testing it on our not perfect wall and off to the left side of the room it kind of felt like we were in a little movie theater, the sound is expansive and is really impressive given the cost and size of this thing. It has auto keystone, zoom, and focus. If you point it at a wall either straight on or at a bit of an angle it will automatically set itself up to the wall for you and it does a really good job at it. If it’s out of range, like too much of an angle you can do it yourself and get a pretty good result. There are additional settings for the automatic set up, like object avoiding, so it will shrink the prejecttion to avoid an object in front when it sets up it projection which is very nice.I wish this came fire TV, Google TV, or even roku. It comes with most of what you want pre installed for streaming services but I just like the interface and ease of app installation on the known operating systems. The fans are pretty loud, when the volume is loud enough they kind of fade away but with nothing playing you will hear them. One important point is to make sure the batteries you put in the remote have a good charge. I put in a pair I thought were charged (I use rechargeable I keep in a battery case and I grabbed the cheap ones to put in the remote) and the remote would not pair, the light would turn on and it would flash at me but no where I could see mentioned what the flashing meant when I pressed a button, I just thought it was a pairing flash. When I put in my good rechargeable batteries that actually held their charge the remote paired almost instantly. I spent about 30 minutes troubleshooting this and it’s a bit embarrassing but I wanted to outline that here. Even if your batteries have enough charge to get the little red light on, it may not be enough to actually use the remote. Also the IR did nothing for some reason. You can plug in additional sources so you could plug in a streaming stick, game console, or computer and have it go through hdmi. This is only 60hz so you’ll max out at 60fps. There’s also AV in for older consoles, and USB for downloaded videos, music or pictures.Overall this is an excellent projector for the price I believe. At this time it was listed for $299 with a $100 off coupon. I love the auto picture set up and the image and speakers of this compact easy to use projector.
