Very Nice!
Great addition for my emergency supply “GO bag”. It’s small, lightweight, and works well. I love that it can be charged with a USB and run on a rechargable battery AND you can put AAA batteries in it as well as a back up. Had good reception for radio. LIke the flashlight feature. Great product for the price! Highly recommend. It even has an SOS button that makes a alert sound that you can switch on manually.(We did not test that out…as my daughter is not a fan of loud alarm sounds. I will trust that is works!)

Important Item To Have Anytime
The SOS siren and light are amazing. Scared my cat off the window, sorry. The weather band radio and regular AM/FM work very well. This radio has a solar light, a spotlight and a hand-crank to use for power. It can be charged by AC, DC (using AAA or Li-Ion batteries.) For the price, it really will be useful when the power goes down and you want to know which way the storm is heading! Thank you FosPower!

My review
The FosPower Emergency Weather Radio (Model A1) – it’s pretty neat! I was skeptical at first, but it’s actually come in handy a few times. What I like most is the multiple power options – you can charge it via USB, solar, or even hand crank, so you’re never without power. The design is straightforward, and it’s easy to use, which is a big plus during stressful situations. The built-in power bank is a lifesaver too – keeps my phone charged when the power’s out. Now, I’ll be honest, the sound quality isn’t amazing, but it gets the job done. It’s not exactly a replacement for your favorite speaker, but for emergencies, it does the trick.Overall, I think it’s worth it for the peace of mind it provides. It’s durable, reliable, and affordable – definitely a good addition to your emergency kit.

Perfect!
Awesome, perfect size. Even has a belt hook & strap so you can wear it. I’m impressed with all of the ways to power it, especially 3 Aaa batteries instead of C or D batteries. Hand crank, charger cord included, solar power it. Has a good audio, my local weather comes in, no static.

Great Radio
Love this little radios, it is compact, it has solar and USB charger features along with AAA battery back up. The weather band stations come in clearly (and I am in the country) and I can pick up AM and FM stations as well. Came with three AAA batteries and adaptor cord. Highly recommend.

Very functional little radio!
This radio is the ultimate value buy for emergency radios! There are multiple ways to charge it, it allows you to charge other devices, has a flashlight and the emergency weather radio. I bought two as gifts and one for myself.

Tuning is touchy but all else seems to work fine.
I was surprised how small it was but should not have been since they show it next to a cellphone. It really doesn’t matter because it doe everything it claims to do. My only problem with it is the tuning dial. It’s far too sensitive in my opinion. I only plan on using it in an emergency so it’s not a reason for me to return it. Everything worked intuitively so the only thing I needed the instructions for was to learn how to know when it was fully charged. I still think it was an excellent value.

It was charged when I received it. You know how when people get their digital products and toss the manual and just start pressing buttons? Well, you really need to read the manual. It’s just a couple of pages. For instance, when charging you need to set the button at the bottom in the right position. The radio plays fine even without the antenna. I found my favorite radio station. Everything works. I tested charging my phone and that worked. I charged it. I notice it can charge my fire tablet. So yay.I bought it mainly for the radio and phone charging during outages. I have other flashlights, but it’s good to have an extra one now. I like that it has 4 charging capabilities, solar, hand crank, AAA batteries, and USB charging. It’s small and compact. Nice. I took the carabiner off. I don’t need that. I’m not going out in the wild. Lol. Oddly enough I found the battery compartment a little difficult to get open for the AAA batteries. I did get it, and now that I have, it’s fine.I didn’t know if I need to recharge it since it was already charged, and to what amount I don’t know. So I charged it through my pc. It says the red light comes on when charging, which it did, and that it turns off when fully charged. It says it takes 4.5 hours to be fully recharged. I had it there for about 6 and it never turned off. So I don’t know what that means. I stopped it at 6 hours because I don’t want anything to go wrong with it.Anyway, so far so good. The real test is when there will be a huge power outage again. Just made it through Fiona. The power was out for 40 hours where I was. This thing could have come in handy for charging my phone. Instead, I had to tightly limit the use of my cell phone in order to to make it last. And the only usable radio was on my phone which was definitely counter-productive.The SOS is really loud. But I think that is a good feature if you live in an area prone to tornados, earthquakes, and other extreme events. If you’re trapped under rubble you can use it to alert search and rescue workers.

This wind up radio is a back-up in the event of loss of electricity for any length of time. It provides sufficient light to read by and a handy built in torch with adjustsble beam. I like the fact that it has a chrging system so that mobile phones can be charged. The radio sound quality depends in your location and band chosen but then I was looking for something, portable, small and functional. It has a sevear weather channel which in the uk is not as far as I am aware is broadcast on.

Gave this to my mother as an emergency device. She was able to identify all its features and have it working right out of the box, without instructions or referring to the included manual. It can be powered in a variety of ways, is very simple and intuitive to use, and has all the basic functionality a person would need in a power outage or similar situation.
