Easy to activate and understand.
Watch was easy to activate and use. Wristband is very comfortable. Doesn’t take blood pressure but very worthwhile for the price.

Fails even as a barebones fitness tracker
I rarely use gadgets of any kind for my fitness or workout. However, I decided I wanted something simple and inexpensive to monitor heart rate for a HIIT workout, and only because the monitor built into my phone fails if you do anything but stand perfectly still. So I tried out this watch.Performance is abysmal and I went in with zero expectations. Set up is terrible, no instructions whatsoever, no tutorials, no printed guide, nothing even in the phone app you’re forced to download and pair it to just to start. So you’re stuck fooling with it or googling to figure out basic operation. Well, I managed. Turns out you have to set it to a specific workout mode for constant heart rate measurement; otherwise the best you get is every 30 mins. Also, there is nothing that will provide you a chart for speed, or heart rate, or anything in the app. There is NO workout tracking beyond a basic “you ran today!” My other free phone apps can do that. It will chart your 30 min heart rate if you want, but we don’t care about that here. I want something for my workout. So ok, looks like I’m stuck with ultra barebones: max step count and heart rate in the moment, with no tracking. Fine, I could still use it for my purposes.EXCEPT. The workout heart rate monitor is wrong or EXTREMELY slow to update. As an example, this thing said my heart rate doing a quiet pre-workout stretch was identical to sprinting the stairs for 30 seconds (80 bpm). Excuse me??? No. Even through a few minutes of HIIT workout, the heart rate on the watch never got above 80-90. As I tried different versions of the workout or sports settings, I found the watch not counting things at all. The “hiking” setting didn’t want to track steps, etc. So this stupid thing failed in the most basic task I had for it.If all you want is to track steps, it might(???) work. But I would say just use your phone for that. For anything else, give this piece of garbage a hard pass. I’m returning it.
