Great UV filter that provides excellent lens protection
I put the K&F 95mm MC UV Filter on a 180-200 zoom lens to provide some protection for the glass at the front of the lens. I have noticed no odd coloring or decrease in sharpness when using this filter and I was quite happy with it.I got back from a photo shoot in pouring rain and when hurriedly pulling my camera backpack out of the back of my truck, I accidentally knocked the 180-200 lens (in a dust cover only) out of the backseat of my truck. It fell about 3-1/2 feet to concrete and landed with the lens and filter pointing down. It bent the filter ring in about 1/16 of an inch, knocking the filter lens out of the filter ring but the filter lens was intact. The filter ring was still in place on the lens but the front ring of the lens was also bent, but the lens glass was intact and undamaged. I had to send the lens to the manufacturer to have the filter ring removed and the front lens ring repaired, but the filter really helped to prevent major damage to the lens.I immediately went and bought a second K&F 95mm MC UV Filter and put it on the lens when I got the lens back from the manufacturer. I also bought a padded case for the lens. The attached photo was taken with the 180-200 lens with the K&F filter on the lens. The photo was compressed down from 50MB to 1MB, so any loss of sharpness is due to compression, not the filter.

Excellent quality, great value
Got this to replace my old filter because of a scratch, and the difference was like night and day. This filter is noticeably clearer, like so clear you almost can’t see the glass when looking at the front of the lens. The threads on the front are plenty deep, despite the low-profile edge. My polarizer threads completely in with no trouble.Definitely good value, especially with how inexpensive this filter is.

Switched to K&F concept
I’ve switched to K&F UV filters from a “competing” brand.A couple of reasons:The filter build quality is superior. These have better “texture” to the metal making them easier to screw and unscrew. The coating looks superior, and I have not noticed any degradation in image quality. Image quality between UV / SKY1A filters is so subjective I won’t go into any discussion. Suffice it to say these have no noticeable degradation to picture quality (and I do a lot of macro & wildlife, both ends of the distance / lighting spectrum). Further, I am fanatical about protecting my lenses. The threads on the lens barrel are easily damaged by a drop and the glass can be scratched. I’d rather replace a filter than a lens any time.K&F has a “better filter”.Recommended.

I use this to protect my lens
I know there are photographers out there that do not believe in having one of these on their lenses because they feel it doesn’t make their photos sharp or whatever. But, I have to say, I honestly do not notice any softness or any distortion. I believe in protecting my lenses after my tripod took a fall with my camera on it one night. The filter shattered and my lens survived. Also sometimes the camera bumps into things before I can put the hood on and i just don’t want to take that chance. Besides if you really feel it’s soft, topaz labs has a great sharpening tool. I recommend this, the cost is reasonable and I have had great results. No complaints here.

Good Filter for the Price
I pulled the trigger on this filter because it seemed like a nice in between from the $10 filters and the ridiculously expensive filters. I wanted to purchase a UV filter simply for lens protection. A lot of the lenses I use are fairly expensive, and it seems silly to walk around with them unprotected. While I was slightly worried at first that a filter in this price range might degrade some of the image quality with nicer lenses, it’s “clear” that it actually enhances it quite a lot. I saw no degradation in sharpness, but colors are a lot better with this filter on, and I can rest easy knowing that my lenses are protected from scratches and debris. They also feel well-built, sleek, and low-profile. They have been usable with the manufactures’ lens caps and hoods thus far.I can’t give it 5 starts, though, because when stacking other K&F filters on top of this one, they seem to get stuck. I’m not sure if it’s the female threads on this filter or the male threads on the filters I’m attempting to stack on top, but it’s almost as if they get cross-threaded when you try to separate them (not when you put them on). This makes the filter system slightly less convenient to use overall.

Good quality
I wanted to replace an older UV filter that always seemed to darken my images. I tried this one form K&F as I’ve owned a tripod and monopod from them and like the quality. UV filters are priced anywhere from a few dollars to >$100, so I tried this one which is about middle of the pack. This filter is really thin and very clear and didn’t notice any negative impacts to my pictures. I went ahead and purchased this model in different sizes for all my other lenses. The glass seems strong, and provides an extra layer of scratch protection to my expensive lenses.

One of the best
This product is a must have. It has the best quality and wonât break the bank. I like it a lot. I bought Hoya and B+W, and this is just as good.

Definitely need this to protect your expensive camera lens
The optics are sharp and do not distort or otherwise affect my photography. I rely on this filter to protect my valuable name brand lens.

Everytime I get a new lense I attach one of these. Great for lense protection from sand, accidentally scratches etc. I find these are affordable and produce minimal to no sun glare, which often happens in cheaper lens protection, definitely recommend
