Impressed with this Laptop
I initially submitted a 1 star due to not receiving the product when advertised. I finally received it and very satisfied with this laptop. Speed is excellent, several different apps to utilize, and user friendly. The only issue and it is only mine is the default “S” mode that the laptop had on it. This app, I guess, is for security and you can only get MS approved apps out of the store. Since I use another browser not in the app store, the laptop would not let me install the browser app. Not good for me, so I turned off this S mode app but it was kind of a pain to find it and turn off. Other than that, very good product.

Lenovo
This is a good laptop for students especially for the price. When it comes the web surfing the speed is nice and it still functions properly with multiple tabs open. The battery last about 5 hrs fully charged. It has excellent storage space. In order to download apps outside of the Microsoft store you do have to turn off S mode. The screen quality is nice for the price the sound is decent I have watched YouTube videos on here and the sound was pretty good. I haven’t experienced any issues and im on week 2 of owning it.

Great for the money
Comes with basic Microsoft Office. Not a fancy unit but does the job and does it well, at least initially.

Piece of Absolute Garbage
Impossibly slow. Not JUST the browser (but OMG Edge, already. I’d tell you to stop but i never see you get started.) but apps opening, commands being executed… counted the seconds into the teens and TWENTIES sometimes. I tried some things (remove efficiency mode, etc) and said eff it to others (trying to get out of s mode) and did everything layperson/enduser that could respectfully be asked of me at this pricepoint. Nothing helped and just getting into each of these screens are minutes i can never get back. Clearly I value my time more than the people at Lenovo by a great deal. Did I get 350$ worth of satisfaction smashing it repeatedly against the stairs before throwing it in the trash? Absolutely not. But the $20 worth of satisfaction i DID get was about +$50 more than this tech experience brought me

Ok, but misguiding.
I ordered it in hopes to run a few guitar plugins, which it couldnât handle. Thatâs my fault for not knowing that, not the sellers. However in the description it says 1TB of SSD, that is far from the case. I had 50GB free to download whatever I wanted, no 1TB of space to be found whatsoever. It did have the 20GB of RAM which I was pleasantly surprised by, however I did send it back as I couldnât justify spending the money since the product cannot do what I needed it to. Definitely good for office work or school though!

AMENDED REVIEW – Screen Display is DULL
AMENDED: I decided to do a full update of the laptop and, as a result, the clarity and colors are much better than before. That and tilting the screen to a certain angle made all the difference. So, I’m keeping it. :-)Previous review: I plan to return this laptop, not because I don’t like how it functions, but because I’m a highly visual person and the screen display is awful. The colors are muted and the black print is often faint. I can find no setting by which to increase the contrast or sharpen the display. Sorry, I can’t live with that.
