34 in ultrawide 800r curve 240hz
This monitor is beast and I stole it for 750$. If this was full price though at 1300$ there’s better options but this is def a premium monitor. Reminder this is OLED technology so text clarity is not a strong suit due to the technology so that in no way shape or form knocks off any stars from this 5 star product. It’s excellent for gaming! Super responsive, high refresh rate, solid build quality. It does have a matte coating but it’s really not even remotely close to as bad as people say. Picture quality is still bright, vibrant and crystal clear. One thing to note is normal ultrawides are normally 1800r curve and at this curve being slight makes it wide and immersive. Now this one with 800r curve bends it so aggressively that it honestly takes away from the immersion as the sides of the monitor are brought closer together to make the harder curve but this is not bad at all. You can see the whole monitor better with peripherals making it easier to use for fps games. I was torn between this and immersion but then I decided to return this just cause I came to the conclusion I rather have immersion from 1800r curve so I then picked up the g85sb from Samsung but his LG is so dope and it looks so good! When or if I become a little more competitive I might get this again. Somehow to me I think this 800r curve makes it easier to aim on mouse and keyboard. I feel like seeing the whole monitor easier and the curve fits the eyes natural curve. Might be placebo but it works for me. If your on the fence I’d buy it. Return it if you want to try something else but keep in mind the refund process is 30 days so if your offered payments from Amazon this process would be more appealing as you are not putting the full price down.

Beautiful OLED screen!
I’m loving this monitor so far! The 27″ form factor is perfect for my 40″ desk. The colors are bright and vibrant despite having a matte coating. I actually prefer having matte to reduce glare (got a window right behind me). I can’t comment on the stand that came with the monitor though because I mounted it on my own stand right away, which saves a lot of desk space.I love the RGB lighting on the back!! It produces a soft glow around the monitor that looks very nice in a dimly lit room (as seen in my photo). I was planning on getting LED strip lights but feel like that’s not necessary anymore. One common complaint I see is about “text fringing” due to the new subpixel layout on 27″ OLEDs in general, not just LG. I was so worried about it that I got an LCD monitor before this one. I ended up returning it because I didn’t like the display (washed out colors) and took a chance on the OLED. I’m glad I did because the text fringing is barely an issue for me. Yes, I can see it if I sit up reeaaaalllly close to the monitor or if the text is tiny. From a normal viewing distance, it doesn’t impact me at all. Things like reading web pages and documents and chatting in MMO games are all perfectly fine to me.There’s some vertical banding, but it’s only present on a gray background. In normal content/usage I don’t see it. Most OLEDs have it to some degree, so I don’t really mind.LG now offers a 2-year warranty for screen burn-in (info is on their website). That gives me a peace of mind if I see burn-in anytime soon.Overall, I recommend trying out this monitor if you’re thinking about it! Gaming and watching movies on it has been a delight.

Decent but not amazing
I’ve been scouting for the very best OLED curved, ultra wide, gaming monitor and thought this was going to be my stop. It’s not. Sadly it’s not because I really had high hopes for this monitor based on all the reviews.I use a Mac and a PS5 and the text isn’t as bad as people say but it’s not great. It’s not super blurry in some cases. It’s basically like old school type write text. Not horrid but for the price you expect better. For gaming it’s good but it doesn’t get as bright as I’d like. The curve is great for the distance I like to sit away from the monitor (about arms length). It’s immersive and good for gaming and watching movies. For productivity/work it’s ok but also not great. Text is where you look forward to the greatness of the display here but it just falls short and it’s just a bit underwhelming for what you pay for this.Last thing – the matte finish is ok, not bad. Definitely prefer a glossy finish over this one but I can see the value in this finish for bright lit rooms. It’s actually the best matte finish I’ve ever seen.TLDR:The brightness on this model was supposed to be superior to the previous model but it’s still underwhelming.Text isn’t bad but also underwhelming.Gaming is responsive, colors are decent but they don’t pop, they dont’ stand out. They’re regular OLED level and really didn’t wow me the way QD OLED Samsung/Alienware models have.My overall rating is: Underwhelming. 5/10Would only recommend when the price drops for this

I wanted to like this monitor
I always wanted to get an OLED monitor and once I saw that LG came out with a new model that was on sale at the time I went for it. The first one came with a big dent and crack from shipping, Amazon took full responsibility for that from shipping and offered to replace it. The first one had a few gray bars that were on the screen, I did some research into it, and apparently, itâs called OLED banding. I got a replacement unit sent for the last one due to the dent/crack and banding on the screen. The new one came with no dents or cracks but it has a problem with flickering and had A LOT of banding on it. I was hoping that the 2nd one would be much better than the first but I was disappointed when it showed up with those problems. Lucky Amazon took care of the problems and they are letting me send back both of the broken monitors for a full refund. Besides the banding and flickering the display looks AMAZING I love how all the colors pop and how the blacks on the monitor are truly black it would have been an amazing movie-watching/gaming monitor if I got one with no problems. Hopefully, in the future, LG will have better quality control on this monitor because I’d love to get one in working order.

As described everything was clean. The monitor doesn’t have any issues. I really liked using the new WOLED. Satisfying to play and watch movies.Cons=The monitor is a bit pricey.I wish it could adjust monitor a bit lower to fit my eyes.Other than that if you have the budget it’s worth. be in mind to have top tier pc since it’s 4k.

Ye itâs the best monitor until they make it in a 25 inch type but itâs ok because you can resize it by yourself with nvidia control panel to make it look like a 25 inch. Brightness is fix, input delay is fast and itâs oled. My second monitor behind is the zowie xl2546k. Also the input lag is faster than the asus pg27aqdm. Itâs also better than the xg259qn 380hz ips. Worth it!
