Very user-friendly High Speed Mesh Wi-Fi System
TL;DR: A very user-friendly Mesh system that provides high speeds and great coverage. The app is easy to use and you can set this system up within 5 minutes after unboxing. Everything is straight forwards regarding the setup – all necessary parts are included and the quality of the system is good. Wired backhaul is available if necessary or to increase the reliability of your network.–If you are looking for a simple mesh system for your home I can highly recommend this system. It provides very good value for money. After opening the box the first impression is that they took some extra care in making this device look sleek. Nowadays – some network devices look more like spaceships which are annoying when the device is placed somewhere visible. I also like to point out that I was impressed by the ‘design’ of the network cable – it is very flat and I think this is kinda cool – not the most important thing but IMHO it shows they took some extra care in creating this kit.Setting up is super simple, assuming you use your ISP modem/router you just hook it up via one of the available ethernet ports. Plug in the power supply and the Mesh System will boot up. The led indicator will tell you if it was successful in discovering your internet connection and as soon as this is the case a temporary WiFi signal is created (SSID and Password can be found on the sticker on the bottom of the device). You need to use the ‘My Mesh’ app on iOS or Android to complete the setup which will ask you to connect to this temporary network which will walk you through creating your own network plus password. After this is done, you are pretty much done and you can start using your new Mesh Wi-Fi Sytem. In case you have chosen to get the 3-pack system – the app will explain how to add the extra nodes to your existing network. A cool thing is that this system supports Tri-band, which means you keep one 2.4Ghz and one 5Ghz band available for all your connected devices where a 3rd (5Ghz) band is used as backhaul between the nodes. This prevents clutter on your network and prevents speed or coverage loss. If you want to have an even more reliable set-up, the system allows you to hook up all the nodes via Ethernet as well. You can do this by connecting them in series (all nodes have a direct cable between them) or parallel where they are all connected to the same switch. The app gives you the option to modify specific settings for your network. As it is a very user-friendly product you might miss some settings as a power user – however – for most households this is more a blessing than a curse as it keeps things simple and straightforward. Since I am on the topic – it might be worth pointing out that the App is your only way of changing the settings of your Mesh system. There is no web interface which you can access via your browser.Last but not least, the system comes with parental control, build-in firewall and guest network options which IMHO is a must-have nowadays. So it is good to see that this is included and adds on to my earlier point that it is an excellent system for most households that don’t want to spend too much time setting up and monitoring their network and prefer a one system fits all product.

Is Rated #1 On Most Online Sites For A Reason
I am a civil engineer so I tend to over-do it when I want to buy something. Especially when it is something technical such as this mesh system that I really know very little about. So I always go online and read google reviews, search for Best Rated Mesh Systems, etc., so I can get the pros and cons of each item out there for sale, no matter what I am buying. Just about everyone is raving about Netgears Orbi Mesh and Google Nest Mesh. Both do not have great ratings for many reasons including privacy issues, set up issues, limited home square feet issues, and having to reset them constantly to work. The one that kept popping up on every rating search site was the Meshforce M7 Tri-Band Whole Home Mesh WiFi System (3 Pack), which I have to be honest, I had NEVER heard of them before. It was priced right, easy to set up and worked the first time right out of the box, which NEVER happens for me when buying something like this. EVER! I have Spectrum 1 gig service at my home and when you get Spectrum 1 gig, they supply the modem and router. The router is of very poor quality and even the Spectrum Techs coming to my home told me so because I installed a Ring system with cameras around my home, and the router could not send it enough wifi signal to power them properly. Without a proper wifi signal, the cameras show nothing and are usually a ‘black’ screen; and they rarely ever alert me when there is movement at each camera. Plus, just so you know, Spectrum 1 gig is really only around 650 mbps and not 1 gig. I am hard wired and never got any better than that, yet the payment part each month for the 1 gig worked just fine. So after talking with the Spectrum Tech at my home trying to resolve my lack of strong wifi, it was suggested I go with a mesh and even this tech mentioned Meshforce M7 Tri-Band Whole Home Mesh WiFi System. He told me to downgrade my Spectrum internet from 1 gig to the next lowest signal of 400 mbps and turn in the router as it is not free with the lower service, but the modem still is. I did just that over the phone with Spectrum and they sent a signal to my modem to stop the 1 gig and even after that, I get 455 mbps. More than I am paying for and not far less than what I was supposed to get with the 1 gig. And with the savings of $60 per month plus tax, it pays for this new Meshforce M7 system in 4 months. Now the system is installed and my Ring system works perfectly with 3 times the wifi power that I had before as Ring allows you to see the wifi network signal power coming to each device. Why anyone has any other mesh system is beyond comprehension. My guess is people buy the big names that spend a fortune on advertising. None of them can compare to this system. Go online and look like I did. Or ask your Spectrum tech next time they are at your home. Oh yes, one more thing. The Spectrum tech told me that Netgear Orbi has had continuity issues with Spectrum service. Netgear is supposed to be working on this, but that is not a good sign.
