Cool little switch
Mounted this under my sit stand desk to plug in multiple computers. Works well and uses the USB power from the desk and fits neatly in a cubby!

Great for micro-clusters, travel, and more – uses less than 5 watts
I’ve used USB-to-cannon-plug adapters to power smaller (5/8 port) Ethernet switches before. A small cluster of Raspberry Pis here, a couple of NUCs or Mac Minis there, or just needing an extra port without running another cable. This switch shortcuts that adapter stage, using a USB-C power adapter and cable (included, but you can use your own) and running generally at 1-2 watts. It’s tiny, fits in a pocket or laptop bag, and breaks out one uplink (use the back port) to four ports of downlink. You can power it from a charger or a computer USB port, and you can go C-to-C if you prefer. As far as performance, well, it’s a gigabit Ethernet switch so you’ll effectively share the gigabit uplink with the other four ports as needed. No features to speak of (other than auto-crossover, in case you’re using ancient network adapters), no configuration, just plug and play.I’m pondering another couple of these for other projects as I get my home lab sorted out. They have some DC-powered POE versions with GBIC or SFP cages, but for my needs, a 2 watt switch without PoE is fine.

good
We have a lot of electronic devices at home and we really need a stable and responsive wired connection and I feel like our Wifi device is unstable so we need a switch. But after trying many brands of switches, I found that although they are cheap, they usually have plastic casings that break easily after two or three years, and their lifespan is too short. We needed a metal-cased, durable switch. This switch gave me a big surprise. The package I received included a power adapter, instructions and switch. The switch is really small! very small! Even smaller than a credit card, I can fit it into the corner of a crevice. The metal casing looks of good quality too. Since it’s unmanaged plug-and-play, you don’t have to worry about things like configuration, and the lights show at a glance which devices are working, but you do need to have a power outlet nearby.I believe this switch will last a long time and I hope ATROODAC will come out with a POE switch that solves the power problem!

Compact and works well
This mini ethernet switch is unmanaged but it seems to work well when all ports are being used. The unit is compact and feels solid. As I only needed few ethernet ports to have direct connections which required more reliable connections without any wifi disruptions, this was perfect for me. As you can imaging the installation is really none….just plug and use. The compact size was also great for me to be able to place it inside the cable box in the utility room as there were tons of cables being route through.

Super compact 4-port Gigabit Ethernet Switch
I was looking for a way to improve my desktop computer’s connectivity performance with other devices such as printer and NAS storage using ethernet cables and I got this tiny 4-port Ethernet switch The package came with the network switch, a 5V USB power adapter, a USB-A to USB-C cable to power the unit, and a small instruction manual. The unit is very small and well-constructed. The body is all metal and it feels solid. Although the ad stated a five RJ-45 ports Gigabit Ethernet Switch, in reality you usually connect 4 devices and the uplink port is connected to your home network. All 5 Ethernet ports can support 10 Mbps Ethernet, 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet and 1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet speed in both Full and Half-duplex. Most devices are running full-duplex unless you have a very old Ethernet device. The switch can auto-negotiate with connected device and can automatically switch to the appropriate speed on each port.Overall, I really like the build quality, compact size and the functionality of this Gigabit Ethernet switch. It is virtually plug-n-play with no configuration needed. I highly recommend this product.
