Works like a champ!
For me and my needs this worked well splitting an Ethernet signal to two upstairs bedrooms. I have had zero issues with speed loss or signal loss. It’s small compact design made it easily fit into my network shelf. It seems well made with a metal casing. All in all it’s a good value for the money and I highly recommend it!

No instructions but works fine.
This is an ethernet switch that you can use to split your internet into multiple devices while still maintaining the speed of a wired connection. I got it so I could plug my PC, PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X into the same LAN cable. It works like a charm. All you need to do is plug it into an outlet for power and plug the internet into the first port, and then each of the other cables you want the internet/network to into the other four ports. My only complaint is that the device came with no documentation at all, and I had to guess that the first jack was the one to plug the internet into. There’s nothing on the device to inform you of that. They really should have labeled the first port as IN and the other four 1-4 instead of just giving them all a number. At 11.99, it seems more than reasonable, and the box itself is metal and seems sturdy enough. All the jacks worked with no issues at all.

Relieves traffic from wifi network.
This does exactly what I need it to – nothing more, nothing less.I have this connected in my living room, splitting the single line coming from the router. This allows me to give a hard-line connection to: a Steam PC Streaming box, an Apple TV, an XBOX, and to the TV itself. With this setup I NEVER have a problematic connection because there is too much traffic on the wifi. I never get any hiccups or quality drops when streaming a movie, it feels like I have fewer disconnects/lag in XBOX games. And regardless of how many people are connecting their phone/laptop/device to the home wifi – using the television is never impacted. Most importantly of all is the Steam Streaming Box – which allows you to stream a videogame from a computer in a different room to your living room TV. There are newer examples of this tech now too, some where you are actually streaming the videogame off a remote server. Before hooking this up to the a ethernet cable via this switch, the device was basically unusable for me. Wifi didn’t have enough bandwidth to transmit a consistently quality picture. In the times that the picture did look okay, the input lag was terrible: you would push a button, and it would be a noticeable about of time before anything changed on screen. With this MokerLink ethernet switch it works amazing! I can play PC games on a big tv, from the comfort of by sofa.As far as the quality of the device – it feels well built. It doesn’t get hot, and it hasn’t failed me in a month of daily use. I have another similar device in a different area of the house and they both seem to be of similar quality. If you are shopping for a ethernet switch and this one has comparable features and/or price, don’t hesitate. I have had zero problems.

A Packetâs Passage to Paradise: No Traffic Jams Here!
As an ethernet packet, I’ve zipped through enough routers to know a solid connection when I see one, and let me tell you, this switch is like a five-lane highway for us data commuters. No more waiting behind Netflix streams and endless photo uploads â it’s full-speed ahead to Email Town and Gaming City. Now, picture this: there’s Bolt, the family Labrador, his tail a-whippin’ like a metronome on caffeine, ready to chase anything resembling a tennis ball. Heâs crashed into the office more times than I can count, a fluffy whirlwind of chaos. Yet, through it all, this little switch didn’t budge from the desk, its metal body holding steady â the crossover cable must’ve thought it was a tag game!Setup-wise, I did a few loops just to see if I’d get lost, but this champ is Plug and Play, no need for a map or confusing manual, reassuring for those less tech-savvy. Though, I must admit, kissing goodbye to the router as I made my way through the switch was a little bittersweet; never knew an unmanaged switch could handle negotiations so well without a tour guide.Sure, Grandma might’ve appreciated a USB-powered option for simplicity, but the included power supply is just fine for a static spot, and helps keep Uncle Couch Potato from mistaking it for a new media player remote. In summary, whether streaming 4K videos or diving into digital board meetings, this switch is a signalâs paradise. No interruptions, just smooth sailing â or should I say routing? The switch deservedly earns its spot by Bolt’s bed; even if he doesn’t get what it does, he knows it means more virtual frisbees to catch!

Great inexpensive switch
I recently incorporated this unmanaged Ethernet switch into my home network setup, primarily as a secondary wired access point for adding new clients. While its unmanaged nature may not be ideal for high-speed and high-volume usage due to potential throughput limitations, it reliably fulfills its intended purpose. The switch’s compact design and ability to handle a significant amount of data make it a valuable addition to any home networking system.Notably, all the LEDs indicating active ports function as expected, providing a clear indication of connectivity status. Additionally, the sturdy metal body instills confidence in its durability, offering protection against accidental drops and spills. Overall, this unmanaged Ethernet switch proves to be a practical and reliable solution for expanding wired connectivity within a home network, ensuring seamless integration and longevity in operation.
