Quality and Price
Appears to be excellent quality. Was very well packaged. Installed very easily, although I had some difficulty finding DIN rail for mounting. I ended up paying $16 for a 4 ft section and only needed 4 in. It would be nice if Mfr. included a 4 in. section in the package.

Robust
Survived and maintained performance installed in my attic all summer without any hitches. Definitely met stated temperature ratings.

Performs as expected but lights donât differentiate as expected
I needed a dual power switch to insure I kept a backbone link up, as consumer-grade UPS (battery backup) had failed and did not pass AC through. It seemed to work fine and I proved it is passing data greater than 100Mb, so it does appear to be Gigabit, but all the link indicators are yellow, whether the link is 100Mb or gigabit. All the other gigabit switches I have used differentiate between green and yello/orange based on the link speed.

PoE requires 48V DC power supply
Product description should be crystal clear about power requirements for PoE operation. if power supply is less than 48V device operates as conventional switch.

Works great
I got this to connect multiple devices directly to the router so I wouldn’t have to go through wireless. This is still the best way to do it. You do not have to worry about a somewhat flightly wifi signal and the link speed is fast. I am surprised more people don’t pick these up. This is a quality unit.

Rugged Ethernet switch for demanding environments
First off: this is an industrial-grade Ethernet switch for professional environments. If you are a casual home user with average technical knowledge/skills, I recommend you purchase a consumer-grade Ethernet switch instead. As I write this review, the only existing review that is not 5-stars is clearly written by someone who lacked the technical knowledge to appreciate, or figure out how to properly operate, this switch, and should not have bought it.I am a 25+ year IT professional and needed a small Ethernet switch for an area that gets fairly hot (~95° F). This switch was the perfect solution. This switch is capable of operating in environments up to approx. 185° F (85° C). And it is FANLESS, which means it run quiet. The switch it replaced had a fan that sounded like a 737 landing. The included power supply hooks up easily. Just use a small screwdriver to loosen two screws, insert each wire (the power supply arrives with pre-stripped red (+) and black (-) wires), then tighten the screws down. The manual very clearly shows where each wire goes; however, apart from this, the included printed manual suffers from a lack of information and poor translation from a foreign language, presumably Chinese. Each port is a full Gigabit (1,000 Mbps) port, and the backplane of the switch is more than sufficient for each port to support full Gigabit connectivity at all times. The switch it replaced had 10 Gigabit ports, but the backplane was only 5 Gbps, which meant that if all 10 ports had a Gigabit connection plugged in, they would only run at about 500 Mbps each.Being a professional and industrial switch, it supports redundant power supplies (though only one power supply is included). If your application requires as close to 100% uptime as is possible, you can buy and connect a second power supply. If the first power supply fails, the switch automatically fails over to the second power supply. Although not specifically stated, it appears that this happens instantaneously (i.e., without any downtime during the switchover). At less than $60, this switch packs a tremendous bang for the buck.

Robust Switch For Worry-Free Home Networking
No doubt this is overkill for home use, but I like to do things better than they need to be done and never have to worry. Although I have been perfectly happy with my TP-Link TLSG105 ethernet switch for the past 19 months, it was hard for the âtech junkieâ in me to resist the opportunity to grab this industrial switch when I had the chance. It is a very robust product that possesses a look and feel that inspires supreme confidence in its ability to perform its intended function at a very high level for a very long time. Now, nothing magical happened when I swapped out my TP-Link switch for the Mokerlink, such as increases in my WAN or LAN speeds — but I didnât expect any. What I do expect is that I shouldnât have to worry about an ethernet switch for a very, very long time. A lot of the other industrial switches I see on Amazon donât come with power supplies, so the price for this MokerLink looks very fair in comparison for a 5-port gigabit switch with an included power supply.

Pro Installers Only
Installation assumes a good knowledge of DC power supplies. Instructions do not state which color of the supplied DC power supply goes to the P+ and P- terminals. The red is voltage positive andgoes to P+, the black is ground and goes to P-. Frankly, is incorrect to label the Ground as anything with a negative symbol when it comes to DC power supplies! I could see someone getting confused and wiring the black wire into the ground/earth input. The dual DC power inputs are great if redundancy is needed, I just wish they had put more effort into the manual. Like why they included a ground/earth terminal on the power input block as well as on the chassis… Seems odd.Instructions are lacking in specifications or detail overall and this switch is clearly not intended for power users or critical usage. For example, it is unclear if, like many other unmanaged PoE switches, this one has Energy Efficient Ethernet enabled by default on all ports. I also can’t find info about the switching backplane capacity, or the type of chipset being used. Those sorts of details could be necessary for some applications. For my purposes, I will be using it in a mild interior environment, non-critical application, and am not mounting it on a DIN rail. I am connecting it to a control system and touch panel, both of which request standard 802.11af PoE, as well as a Windows PC, and of course the net feed. Power is supplied to the two PoE devices without issue. Running a WAN speed test with everything wired up and running, I am getting normal readings for my ISP, so the switch doesn’t appear to be negatively or positively affecting throughput.

Overall it seems to be reasonably priced and solidly built switch with power supply redundancy, however, from the description it was not clear that the PoE would be not functional when supply voltage is below 47V (the switch itself works fine). Reduced one star because of that. I purchased this specifically for using it with low voltage backup power, now I will have to use an additional DC/DC voltage converter.

Equipement très performant et costaud.Mais je n’ai pas trouvé de tableau électrique adapté et il a fallu que je découpe à la scie un tableau standard !
