Works like magic to add a POE camera
I expected this device to need a power supply, but it does not. I guess, splitting the signal, gives it enough power.Used with LOREX POE cameras. Added a 180 degree camera and thought Iâd give up the previously installed one, but by adding this device, I got another slot to keep the previous camera as it has just a slightly different view. I saw a low review on here but he admits he ran 120â which is too long. I think the longest is 100â.

Must have for poe cameras
Bought a different knock off brand first to save money. Blah. Big mistake. Had cams randomly rebooting. Pulling hair out…. Get this. Works with hikvision poe cams with the new color star light cameras. No issues at all. Highly recommend. Using with 16 port unifi poe switch. Blue iris as well.

Low power. Very dissapointed
This seemed like a magic bullet. I attached this to a 120′ run of direct bury CAT6. At the extender I attached one POE surveillance camera and one camera that used it’s own AC transformer. I connected another CAT6 of 131′ to the extender to run antoerh camera. Didn’t work. When I tested the POE it showd 8.5v being delivered to far end. Unaccepatable. Too bad it’s too late for me to reurn it.

MokerLink Outdoor 5 Port Gigabit PoE Switch/Extender, IEEE 802.3 af/at/bt PoE Repeater 90W, 10/100/1000Mbps, 1 PoE in 4 PoE OutIch habe den Switch gekauft um 2 POE Kameras und einen WLAN Acces-Point an einem Kabel zu betreiben. Das funktioniert.Auf zwei Dinge muss man aufpassen1) Die maximale Geschwindigkeit liegt bei lediglich 100 MBit/s, obwohl im Datenblatt 1000 MBit/s angegeben sind (Gerät entspricht optisch eindeutig der 1000 Mbit/s Ausführung). Die Ursache liegt beim Mokerlink Switch – am gleichen Anschluss erreicht mein Tenda POE Switch 1000MBit/s. Für meine POE Kameras und den WLAN Switch sind 100 MBit/s ausreichend.2) Der Switch hat einen DIP-Schalter, der irreführend lediglich mit ON / OFF beschriftet ist. Mit ON schaltet man aber nicht den Switch oder die POE-Funktion ein, sondern aktiviert eine Funktion, bei der die Anschlüsse in getrennten VLANs entkoppelt werden. Als Nebeneffekt geht die LAN-Geschwindigkeit auf nur mehr 10 MBit/s zurück.
