Don’t be discouraged.
I was a little concerned when reading the reviews this product has. However when I ran my cables for my home office I had no issue, everything terminated properly on the first try with no need to re-run cables. Treat them as if they’re delicate and you should have no issue with this line provided you don’t try and use this cable when you should be using stranded. 100% worth what I paid in terms of getting my office where I need it for remote work. Getting my full speed package of 500m up/down on a dedicated WAP for my work PC. Really happy I decided to just setup my office so I could get the full speeds I’m provisioned by my ISP wirelessly. Remember you get what you pay for with everything, with that in mind this cable should be fine as long as you treat it as it is.

Easy to work with
Purchased this for several short (50′) runs for my home network. Since I’m broke and have a lot of connectors lying around, I also spent a few hours crimping RJ45 connectors on these cables to make short 6″ patch cables for my panel. As such, I’m intimately familiar with the cable and thought I would write a review.Jacket is a good thickness. The inner plastic core is annoying, but all CAT6 cable requires it, so I can’t demerit this product because of it. The nylon string feels high quality. It’s easy to clip of both when crimping or punching down the cable. The jacket was fine with both brands of RJ45 connectors I used, including some cheap Chinese closed-ends designed for CAT5, and some CAT6 passthrough connectors with strain reliefs. I had no problem punching the cable into my patch panel or keystone jacks.Since I’m using this in a residential setting, I needed to fish this through some particle board and cable staples. The cable staples rubbed off some of their coating on the white jacket. I chose white to match existing ethernet in the home and I don’t regret the decision. Wire wasn’t difficult to fish. Jacket held up nicely. Box payout was also good; it had the right amount of friction and I had no problems with kinking or tangling.Note I don’t have any sophisticated equipment to test signal quality, just a basic network tester to ensure I punched everything down right. My switch lit up 1000M for all my gigabit devices, and I haven’t seen any connectivity problems.Would definitely buy this brand again.

Pulls well, a little lossy for real long runs
Used to wire new APs in a small business. strips and punches down easily. kinks easily too. was the cheapest white I could find. Not pure copper, but coated aluminum

Lets be honest ppl, this is bargin brand and it works great.
As far as all the mixed reviews, some saying they tried using this in in-wall installations others saying they used it for contract work. I’ve seen horrible reviews and other’s say great. Let’s keep in mind, this IS NOT pure copper. It’s basically a bargain brand cat6 cable that can handle a lot of installation situations.Let’s be honest, if I’m doing contract work for a business there is no way I’m going to spend 40 dollars on this box of cable if they have a high demand backbone or needs. How much are we charging them, 500? Quite likely and then I go out and want to spend a little as I can on the cable? That just sounds like a very bad idea to me.Doing wiring in your house, friends or residential? Sure, I see no problem in using this to cut back on costs for you and the consumer. So let’s be honest, how much are we expecting out of a product that right now as I just looked up, costs 2-5 times as much as this product does against various brands. It’s like buying generic for a wedding party, can you? Sure, good idea, maybe not.I have about 400 ft right now in my house, works fine for me; I’ve had no problems what so ever.Fits in cat6 plugs just fine and makes me feel like I have more than I need as far as bandwidth ability.

Great Ethernet cable
Used this to wire our new construction house, seems like a nice quality wire, no complaints here. Will buy again!

Not as bad as I initially thought…
I bought this thinking that it would just be a “cheap cable”.I ran two runs, then went to test them. Can’t get over 100mbps. So I’m like “ok. Let’s try a short patch cord.” Same thing. Cut off the ends and tried 568b instead of 568a, just in case. Still only 100mbps.*Edit*I tried rebuilding the cables again. It ended up working correctly finally. No idea what the issue was originally, but it does work. It just seems more sensitive than traditional all copper cable I guess. It doesn’t work with the tool-less jacks I bought, so I’m going to buy some punch down ones and try those. I’ve only ever used punch ones, so I can’t blame that on the cable yet.
