Amazing bag! â¦fly at your own risk.
I wanted a camera bag that 1.) could also fit a beefy 17â laptop, 2.) had wheels because it always gets heavy, and 3.) could be worn as a backpack when terrain wasnât suitable for rolling.I considered many options – including some well-known brands at 3X the price. Ultimately, I opted to save a little money and go with the Neewer bag. I am not disappointed. This is a great bag for a lot of camera gear, if youâre looking for something that hits those three points in my first paragraph. There is one major problem, but it is not a FLAW with the product; just in how you may intend to use it. Please read on.I have traveled with this Neewer bag several times in the four months Iâve owned it. For car travel, itâs the best solution Iâve ever owned and itâs a darn good bag. I have flown with it three times; thatâs where I encountered a problem. This bag is just a little too big to fit under the seat of a larger airplane. On smaller planes, thereâs no chance. So you MUST find overhead bin space if you want to carry it on. Presumably, if youâre traveling with camera gear, you absolutely do not want to check the bag, so when the inevitable announcement is made that âwe are not gate checking all roller bagsâ¦â the panic sets in.On one occasion, I pleaded with the gate agent to let me take it on and try to find overhead bin space. There was actually plenty of open space, so it was a non-issue. On another occasion, I heard the announcement, so I quickly deployed the backpack straps and casually walked on. They didnât say anything about checking backpacks! I managed to find bin space and avoided the problem again. So, my assessment of the bag itself is completely positive. A great purchase. But my trepidation for flying with it causes a lot of anxiety. The main compartment is easy divided up for almost any configuration with the included partitions. The built-in zipper pockets on the under side of the main compartment flap are very handy for sorting all manner of accessories, SD cards, pens, cables, etc. The telescoping handle seems to be robust enough, but I would caution you against lifting the bag with it, especially when it gets heavy.I was very impressed with how easily the backpack straps can be deployed and how well the system works. The flap that contains the straps folds over and secures to the bottom with velcro, and covers the wheels, meaning that all the filth from the floor wonât get rubbed all over your back.

IT RULES.
Wedding and portrait toggy here. Iâm a bit of a case snob. I use Pelican to tote all of my gear around.I was looking for something to protect my monolights and decided to go with thisâ¦but, its so good that I actually moved my two main bodies and all of my glass into it – and now the Pelican serves as the moonlight case! ;)Itâs very sturdy and spacious, and the storage compartments are a great touch. My only advice if youâre a klutz like myself, or have fear of breaking your gear, add velcro strips (2â wide, sticky side down) cut to length of preference and lay it across the top of the dividers to keep your glass more secure.Get it. Itâs really a great buy.

Value for the money
I’ve been looking for a quality camera bag to house my expensive pro equipment and I’ve tried them all. This Neewer 2 in 1 sliding suitcase style has finally fit the bill. Tall enough to house all my lenses including my 24-70 2.8 without needing to lay it down. Tons of easy to move and secure dividers. Built in area for all my sd and cf cards, batteries, cables, etc. without the need to look through pockets. All is in plain view and secure. Holds all the gear I need for any photo shoot. I am so pleased which is why I’m taking the time with this review. Look no further, this is the case you will use from now on.

Great substitute for a heavy backpack
After my last trip with my camera backpack, I realized that my shoulders couldn’t keep up with my heavy gear. I pivoted to a rolling camera bag and wow, this was a great decision. This bag has sturdy wheels, a retractable handle that can accommodate slip through bags. Inside, the velcro tabs can be adjusted for different sized camera gear. Very happy!

I got my babies with me!
I love this bag so far. I hope the wheels hold up with use! It can hold so much and the bag itself was not too too heavy. I will update after its first trip! Going to Vegas with it for a week and much use.

Neewer 2-in-1 Sliding Camera Backpack Suitcase Style Convertible Compartments
This bag is great, plenty of room as I have three bodies with battery grips and 5 lenses. I customized mine with my logo and website which I think makes it stand out even more.

So glad I bought this!
Wow! I was looking for something that would fit all my camera gear and also my laptop and still work as a carry-on. This is perfect! Plenty of room and I don’t anticipate any issues with carrying this on – it looks about the same size as my other carry-ons and smaller than I’ve seen others carrying on. Great buy for the price!

If I have the option, I love to roll my gear as a full pack of cameras, lenses and grip gear can make for a really heavy pack. This holds more than my thinktank and lowepro rollers, and I love that the backpack straps are quick to deploy – only requiring them to be unzipped. Bonus points for the wheel covers that are built-in to the zippered section which protect your shirt. It’s not quite as stiff as my Lowepro rollers, and I do wish it had a kick plate instead of fabric for dragging this over stairs, but for the price, this is a solid solid case. Highly recommended.

I had been looking for something to keep my cameras in at weddings for a while, as I often carry around a lot of kit and it can get quite heavy when you have to keep moving it from on place to another. The simple addition of wheels to this was a game changer, as well as the extending handle, it was like taking a suitcase on holiday! The removable, padding made it easy to accommodate most of the gear I needed, and the internal and external pockets made an easy job of securing smaller items. My only complaint is that Iâd have liked a couple more external smaller pockets to make it easier to store or access smaller items without having to lay the case down and open it fully. It seems to be durable as Iâve already used it at a couple of weddings and it looks as good as new. It certainly feels pretty sturdy, and I feel reassured that my equipment is all safe in there when Iâm on the move.I was initially a little concerned about the shoulder straps when my bag was fully loaded, as it was quite heavy, but I soon realised that these straps were perfectly strong and capable and after having it on my back for a while it felt quite comfortable, stable, and it was lovely to have my hands free. This bag certainly represents good value for money, and if youâre looking for a new bag, this wonât disappoint.
