Works great in a 2700 sq ft house with 9 ring cameras. used with a netgear cm1000. very happy with everything so far. easy setup, full signal front and back yard, get around 350 mbps all over with 30 things connected

Good Whole Home Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System (RBK752P)
This is the second one I have owned. I thought the first one went bad but it turned out to be my Spectrum router. Now I have two. It works fine for me and it covers my whole house fine.

Easy installation
It was easy to install and set up. One issue I have is that the system does not include a user manual. I found the manual online and it help me set up the system. Another issue I had was using their app to set up the satellites. I could not get them to connect using the app so I had to use the sync function on the router and the satellite to get them connected. My internet speed prior to the installation was 333 mps down but with this system my download speed increased to 540 mps down.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have been having problems with this system for the last six months. Constantly dropping sync, all my connected devices buffering. I finally get hold of someone in customer Svc and Iâm told my security protocols have expired. So I end up buying a five year plan for $300. Everything is working great after. They tell me my Netgear Nighthawk modem is working great and not notch. My upload spds are upwards of 240 Mpbs and download is 30-40 Mpbs. Less than 18 hours later my entire system is down. WiFi sucks modem sucks. Zero internet! So I call Cox and now Iâm told my modem is out dated. Three years old and out dated. Been trying to get in touch with Orbi tech support. Called them three times and they blow me off. No call backs complete BS!! Donât buy this Orbi. Not worth the money zero customer support. They get their money and leave you high and dry.

Finally WiFi throughout the entire house.
I guarantee you that your router isn’t performing the way your company promised when the sells pitch was over. Been there done that, we have a rather large home, more than 3,500 square feet and another 1,200 pool and concrete desk area. I don’t care which company we were with and all the bells and whistles plus a multitude of promises, we just never had the coverage or guarantees promised. I finally started doing a bit of my own research and calling or stopping by every electronic store in the city and asking questions and normally got the store sells pitch or BS finger pointing exercise. But, when I started talking with the tech/installer people, one name kept coming up for a powerful solution and extender. Best part of my research was that I didn’t need the most expensive router aka extender/boaster and could purchase one that covered well over my entire house and property and at a price that didn’t require me going into debt for something I truly didn’t need. There’s three or four models to choose from and I selected the one that covers 5,800 square feet and it covers every inch of my property plus some and max bars even at the maximum range. Now for the best part of this, I’m no techy nerd and have had to give up and hire someone to finally do what I couldn’t accomplish when it came to hooking something up. Setting these two extenders up was so simple that I disconnected them and asked the wife to follow the instructions and see if she could do it. Yep, she did it on the first try. Finally we have full WiFi throughout the entire house and across the entire property. If you are considering these extenders, do Not purchase the three extenders just because you “think” you’ll need or absolutely have to have the extra power, because surprisingly you’ll have more than you’ll ever need with two. Additionally, you can always purchase the third one later if you really need to, but doubtfully will have to. Another plus, no more having to give your WiFi password for friends or family when they visit, this device has a temporary password for your company.

Ease of Use but lacks so many features & promises
Lived in a concrete apartment 3 bed rooms. I needed all 3 routers to cover this 1200 sqft home and it still had deadzones. Obviously that’s concrete. My real issue is with Mesh Wifi period, not just Netgear. Device Steering is always automatic and it never works. You will always have trouble with devices connecting to the further router & choosing 5Ghz when the device is far away. Stuff like this could be easily solved for us technical people by allowing us to steer devices because we tend to have a couple devices specifically our own that we would like to keep on a set router & a set ghz. I used to own the LinkSys Velops for a couple of year, the connection range is better but the app is more simplified than theirs.Check for other mesh systems that maybe offer better device steering because it’s non existent on the orbi’s. Atleast Linksys tries.
