Great Gaming computer for the Price
I bought this computer to replace my HP Omen 30L. I was ready for an upgrade but didn’t need anything too crazy. This Gaming PC was at the perfect price and works great and has the room to expand if I choose too. Plus HP has great customer service

Love the Omen, great gaming experience
Set up was very easy. Plug and go. Better than expected and is very fast. Handles every game I play at high FPS(+144fps easy) and at max graphics.

My first ever pc
This is my first ever pc. I gotta say, it’s amazing. I have the 4070ti version and it has blown me away. My only gripe is the cable management. In the pictures, it looks nice. Mine, not so much. It’s not so bad that I’m gonna try to re do it all myself, which I won’t do mostly because I’m a little bit scared to, but it’s definitely kinda disappointing. It’s easy to clean, it hasn’t gotten loud yet, no lagging so far. So, I’d say so far so good.

Great while it worked.
Worked great for just long enough that I can’t send it back. Started beeping and when it finally came on the bitlocker that should have been disabled when I swapped to a local account had encrypted my computer. Didn’t have a key so a month of character design is gone, and I would be okay with that but when I reinstalled windows the internet wouldn’t and still won’t work. Still working on getting help with that.
Amazon Customer –
Better than avertised.
Fast shipping and happy that it was shipped directly from Amazon.

Both a thing of beauty, and a beast.
From the very first time I started up the HP OMEN, it has run like a dream. Coming from using an Alienware m17 R3 for the last few years that ran crazy hot with loud fans that never stopped, this runs unbelievably silent. To the point that if there were no lights and the case wasn’t transparent so you can see the innerworkings, one likely wouldn’t even know it was on. I did see someone else mentioned that a fan or something in their case made a slight clicking sound, but fortunately mine does not. So it’s possible that’s an issue specific to that unit and not something that all of them are having issues with.As expected the lighting is fully customizable. The lighting on the front panel was what I was curious about. While I figured the internal LEDs could be set how you want them, the front circular lights were what I was most interested in. Not only are they customizable, but you can adjust them in the settings to perfectly match any other colors you might be running on something else.Something amazon HP has included in this is the simplest, easiest, most amazing way to get inside your case to do upgrades. There’s a button…yes a button you push and the side of the case pops right off. Gone are the days of needing to unscrew something and gently ease parts of the case apart. With this you push a button and you’re in.Inside the case there is an Omen cooling block, which moves heat from the CPU into the top of the unit where there’s a chamber with fans to cool and move the air out. With the Omen software that’s included, you can control every last detail of your computer’s cooling, fan speeds, etc. Lots of customization options here. You can really max this thing out and even set the fans to a very powerful maximum speed if needed. However over the last few weeks of gaming on this, I’ve never needed to adjust the fan speed at all.For 4k gaming, this computer is outstanding. My last system did well, but this one handles it on a whole other level. Also, I have a Valve Index VR set and when setting it up with my Alienware laptop using a thunderbolt dock (running dual monitors, mouse, external keyboard), I ended up needing to order extra adapters to get everything displaying correctly in the headset. That worked for a while, then the dock went out entirely on me. Thankfully I was already in the process of upgrading to the OMEN, so I didn’t replace it. With this system, I’m back to gaming on a desktop with more than enough ports for everything. Dual monitors, RGB gaming pad, Razer DeathStalker V2 Pro keyboard, Razer Basilisk, VR headset and plenty of room for more. The OMEN does come with a keyboard and mouse, but both are kind of laughable. If you’re spending this kind of money on a gaming system, you’re not going to want to use the keyboard/mouse combo that comes with this. If you didn’t have anything else, then yeah they’re there. But know they are very basic. There’s so much cool stuff to this system, the more I use it and get further into what it can do the more it impresses me. Note also that the case for this is a full size tower, significantly larger than the mid size tower so many systems are made with. This one is a beast, and I love it.

Big. Powerful. Plays Starfield at 70-90 fps mostly ultra!
11/4/23 After two months of ownership, I had an issue that required me reaching out to HP support. Based on that interaction, I removed a star. Didnât feel like HP treated me like I bought a premium product from them, despite this being a premium problem. The actual issue was crash to desktop during a game. They told me I should take it to Best Buy⦠like⦠what? How about no. Eventually had to reset whole computer to factory settings, lost what little I had on the PC. So far no further issues but I wouldnât expect HP to treat you like youâve paid what you paid for this, should you need help. Eventually got someone who was helpful and didnât talk to me like Iâm a PC noob, but customer support was subpar in my opinion, and I feel like I should have just built my own as usual, saved a bit of money and then Iâm my own support. Maybe that was just my luck with who I spoke to, but not impressed at all.ââGot my omen 45L on sale for $1800, I7 13700kF, 16gb 5200 ram, 4070TIPros – plays starfield on higher settings than my I5/2070 it replaced, on my 34â 1440 monitor at 165hz. Getting solid frame rates all the time, playing on mostly on ultra but using the built in game manager – works very well! Havenât tried any other games yet but the increase in quality was staggering for SF. My setup was really easy, just delete all the HP bloatware (5 min of work). I hate windows 11 but that isnât omens fault. Box is heavy, be aware but at this price I want the heft, so I feel like I got my moneys worth. Lighting controls for the box are easy. Cooling system definitely works! External form factor is pleasing and feels premium⦠once I turned down the brightness on the lights lmaoCons – I wouldnât pay more than $1800 for my specs, price it out on partspicker and make sure youâre getting a value youâre comfortable with. Wire management is good but not as good as it should be at this price point. Has some bloatware from HP, just like everything HP does. Windows 11 is terrible but itâs what there is unless youâre gonna Linux so, oh well I guess. None of those cons are really a surprise.Overall I am so happy I got a completely new rig instead of building my own – this delivered what I wanted – great performance out of the box without me having to spend weeks optimizing things, swapping out noisy parts etc. Feels premium and on sale I was super comfortable with the price. If Iâd paid $2500, well I wouldnât have made that purchase. But on sale? Heck yeah!
