I finally found the M 4/3 case that I’ve been looking for.
So, you’ve switched to M 4/3 right? Small and light, fast lenses, it’s awesome. The ONLY thing that has really been frustrating me is the lack of options to keep that package small and light in every day carry/while out shooting. All the options so far have been:- Small camera bag, which sucks up a ton of space in your backpack/messenger bag. Added bonus of looking extra dorky when you have it slung around your shoulder and you have the camera in your hand.- A small camera pouch, which can only accept the smaller pancake lenses- A fitted leather full/half case. Half case offers very little protection when throwing the camera in your main bag. The full case seems to only accept smaller pancake lenses.Along comes this OP/TECH pouch. It does EXACTLY what I want it to do, which is to carry my Panasonic GX1 with Panasonic-Leica 25mm f1.4 lens attached (with hood). It fits perfectly. Easy to get on and off. Comes with a small button strap on the inside so you can attach it to your belt or neck/shoulder strap. Small enough to put it in your pocket. Durable enough for me to trust it in my everyday carry backpack so my camera is always with me, which was the whole point of me switching to M 4/3 in the first place.Great piece of kit, it has really made me happy with the fit and overall value. Fast and light, here we come!

D-SLR ZOOM – Good Value – Fits Nikon D300
I bought this item, not because I wanted a case to haul my camera around, but rather because I needed temporary, minimalist case to provide protection for traveling. I travel for my job and I usually use a Lowe Pro camera backpack because they’re handy and inconspicuous. The problem is that it means that I have an extra bag to haul through the airport and security with the backpack. This item offers basic protection for the camera without all the bulk of a regular, padded camera case with zippers and pockets. I now put my camera in my carry-on flight case along with my computer and work papers. I stick the backpack in my checked-in roller bag, to be used on my layover when I go out to take pics. Now to the important part of the review. This item will comfortably fit a Nikon D300 with a Nikon 17-55mm AF lens. The D-SLR version (as apposed to the D-SLR ZOOM) is too short for this lens. The neoprene is stretchy, so there’s no problem with leaving a tripod quick-release attached to the bottom of the camera. With this lens, you will not be able to leave the lens hood attached to the camera. Once the camera is in the case, you can turn the hood around backwards, and slide it over the lens/case for packing in your luggage. Construction is good quality and the design exposes the camera’s carry strap attachments, so you can still carry it by the strap with the camera inside. I don’t own a D200, but I would assume that this camera would fit equally as well as the D300.

A soft case that works fairly well.
Well constructed out of soft 1/8 inch thick black neoprene w. double thickness on the back due to the overlay of the flap enclosure. Great protection for the LCD screen, not as much for the lens. Fits my Panasonic DMC-LX100 w. lens filter and strap very well. Leaves about 1/4 inch space on each side and barely touches the camera back and front lens filter. Note that there is only one connection option provided, a strap w. clip to connect the case to your camera strap, versus the other options shown in the video. These other options are not included w. this model pouch. And as one other reviewer mentioned, I experienced the clip accidentally detaching and dropping the case to the ground while I was shooting.Have deducted one star for the snap closure, which I find fidly to use. You have to search by feel and sight to find and match up the two snaps. Can take a few seconds in dim light. I find I only bother to engage one snap to speed up the process. A small patch of velcro would work faster and probably no noisier to use than hearing the two plastic/metal snaps engage & disengage.Overall, good protection against scuffs, scratches, light rain and most dust/dirt, especially if your camera is bouncing around inside a backpack or camera bag while hiking. Opens and removes quickly, but as mentioned, takes a bit more time to close. Lighter and more compact than a traditional flip-open hard camera case. Seems to be working well for me thus far, although I may try to sew on a small patch of velcro to replace the snaps. Hey OP/Tech, how about a snap-on low friction velcro accessory? Might work.

I really love this pouch for my Panasonic Lumix LX100m2!!
I purchased this camera pouch for my Panasonic Lumix LX100m2 according to recommendation to my acquaintance.I brought my camera to my travel and took pictures for about 13 days. I definitely could realize why it is a good camera pouch.1) It is very light weight – so it is easy to go with.2) It has soft, half sponge and haft rubber like texture with fair thickness – it felt soft with some cushion and so I thought it would partially absorb energy, and it is easy to grip and it may prevent slip off.3) It has 2 buttons on the bottom – I prefer this button mechanism for closure over zipper or velcro.4) It was somewhat roomy for LX100 even with an auto-lens cap and/or leather case – I thought it is better than those with tight or snug fit.5) It has a hook inside it for attachment to the strip ring or something else.I think it is a very well-made camera pouch with just good size for Lumix LX100 or LX100m2.I loved the consistency or texture of the material and robust construction with multiple stiches and good buttons. I think I would purchase one more and a few more for my SONY DSLR A850 and A900.Highly recoommended!!

I ordered a midsize zoom pouch to help protect my Canon SL2 with an attached Canon EFS 55-250 zoom lens. The lens is about 5’5″ long, and fits in the pouch with 2 filters attached, a lens cap on the end and with the restraining strap from the pouch attached to the camera. The case is a good fit and allows both ends of my neck strap to stay attached while in the case.
