Great buy. Easy setup.
I purchased this to connect to one of my TVs. It works well and was easy to set up. I would like to see a female HDMI plug on it, but with the short cable that came with it, I could connect it to the TV easily. I would buy again. Can’t comment on Tech Support since I have had to use it.

Read carefully before purchasing
I bought two of these to use with TVs in my house. Theyâre more than fast enough to stream video, but unfortunately, while these are advertised with Linux support, it seems that the internal WiFi requires a driver that needs to be downloaded and installed. It will not otherwise work. Your average modern mini PC probably wonât require such effort and will likely work with an up to date mainline kernel, so this specific product may not be worthwhile for Linux enthusiasts.

Simple PC stick ideal for digital signage. Maybe a mini PC is better?
This is a stick-shaped PC that is designed to plug right into an HDMI port and provide a fully functional Windows computer. This product has a Celeron N4020, plus 8GB RAM and 256GB SATA SSD storage in the configuration I tested. For the same price, a very similar looking (if not identical) stick can be found from other vendors with a Celeron J4125, which is a slightly more powerful chip – you might want to look for that instead, although for very basic applications the N4020 is probably fine too.I think the right applications for a computer like this are digital signage installs or engineered kiosks – it’s really not enough computer to be your media center PC or a general purpose lab computer or workstation. For that, a mini PC would be a better answer. While this seems to run reasonably well, both of the stick-shaped mini PCs I’ve tested (including this one) have had thermal throttling issues – when I attempt to put them under load by running benchmarks, they tend to slow to a crawl until I give them a chance to cool down again. Again, that’s probably not a problem for the types of applications these are usually used for, but it’s also not ideal and limits the appeal. For that and other reasons, I’m not sold on the form factor here in general. This stick is pretty big for what it is, approaching the length of a mini PC. It’s thinner and narrower, but it’s still too big to just plug in to most HDMI ports, so you’ll probably find yourself using an HDMI extender. By the time you’ve plugged in the power cable, the extender, and a keyboard or mouse, you’ve got a rats nest of cables and a weirdly shaped thing with no mounting holes to figure out how to hide. You’re also stuck with harder to find parts like a 2240 SATA SSD if you want to upgrade. If it were me, I’d buy an equivalently priced mini PC with a VESA mounting bracket and affix it to the back of your display: it will barely take up any additional room, the thermal design will be better and it will be easier and more flexible to upgrade. This isn’t a bad little gadget, and it’s fun to have a full PC in something this small, but I’m not sure it’s really all that practical.

Cannot play video at any resolution
Bought to use as a home media center, saw that it advertised support for 4k. Apparently this only means that the video card can put an image on a 4k screen, not that it can do so in real time.It drops frames with no programs running, just moving the mouse around. I downloaded some test videos, and it cannot play 4k video (attached) without freezing for up to 3 seconds, with 1 second freezes being very common. It improves somewhat at lower resolutions, but still drops frames playing a 480p video on a 480p signal.Completely unusable for media. Maybe usable as a low-power PC but better options are available at this price point so I don’t know why this exists.

Compact With A Lot of Possible Use Cases
This stick computer comes ready to use. Plug in a monitor (HDMI), connect it to the internet (wired or Wifi), connect a keyboard and mouse (USB-A or Bluetooth) and external memory (memory stick, external HD or SSD vis USB-A) and you have a full featured Windows 11 computer.I had no difficulty powering it up and going through the setup to get it registered with Microsoft (no additional charges and easy to do) and getting all of the initial computer preferences set. Is it a full functioning game computer? No. It has a modest, but modern processor. I had no difficulties getting my Microsoft and Google accounts established and synchronized on it. Windows software installation is normal. I added a 1GB M.2 SSD to the existing 256 memory to give the programs room to maneuver.Besides not being a super fast computer, you end up with a lot of wires running out of the stick computer. You can minimize this by maximizing Bluetooth and Wifi connections where possible. All connections and setups, wired and wireless were straightforward and routine. The stick has been silent during my use. It has an internal fan, but I haven’t noticed it cycling on.Attach this computer to the back of a monitor to make a smart TV or sign. Use it as a back-up computer. Store it in an EMP proof container with a small monitor, keyboard and mouse to maintain computing power after an EMP event. The unit comes with a 12V AC adaptor for using with grid power, but can be run directly from a 12V battery by adapting the power cable. Pair this setup with offline information and entertainment sources such as Kiwix JS, and you are ready to ride out a long spell when the grid and internet is down.
