can be a little finicky but they do work
Hopefully everyone consdering buying these reads this. THE INSTRUCTIONS are WRONG! you have to swap them opposite of the instructions. The black unit goes on the head end (NVR/Switch side) The White unit goes on the camera end.I spent several hours playing with settings in the NVR and checking connection before I decided to swap the ends as a last resort…Bingo, camera popped right up!

Does not work
I was very hopeful that this would work as a substitute for the more expensive Linovision adapters. But nothing worked and i tried everything, even providing separate power to the cams just to see if a connectivity light would show up on the switch. NOTHING. In fact some inexpensive passive adapters I bought for testing worked very well in the same location and the same coax cable.Very disappointed – I will avoid this manufacturer for my future projects.
