Everyone deserves to hear and be heard. Poly Sync Family USB/Bluetooth smart speakerphones make both happen with remarkable sound quality in personal and huddle workspaces plus small conference rooms. Voice calls flow naturally with multiple microphones that track the talker, not the noise. If people on both ends talk at once, full-duplex audio makes sure nothing is missed. It’s simple to join meetings—just plug in or connect via Bluetooth.
Easy connectivity: Just connect smartphones wirelessly via Bluetooth or computers via USB-C.
Hear and be heard: Keep the focus on your voice, not the background noise with a multi-microphone steerable array for echo and noise reduction. Let people talk simultaneously for natural conversations without missing a word with full duplex audio.
Work on the go: Keep your smartphone charged and ready using your Poly Sync 20, with up to 20 hours of battery life. It’s slim and portable, IP64 dust- and water-resistant, and comes with its own carrying case.
All in one: Portable speakerphone + portable charger + high-performance music speaker. Enjoy more clarity on every call thanks to the bass reflex system with dual passive radiators for natural voice and deep bass.
Stay in control: Know the call status, even from a distance, thanks to a highly visible light bar. Access your favorite function—play/pause music, last-number redial, voice assistant and more —with the touch of the programmable button.

Great device
Works great for what I needed it for. Long conference calls and no longer an ear piece in my ear for hours. Sound is great!

Owned for three years and still love the Poly
I bought this more than three years ago. I use it in my home office, I travel with it and have used it in conference rooms with co-workers as the center piece to a group meeting on Teams, Zoom, Google Meet or Webex. I have the Teams version since that is what my work uses, but it works with all of the group meeting apps and I have used it with all of them across my clients as I am a consultant. The sound is very high quality and the multiple microphones picks up everyone in a meeting if you centrally locate it. Additionally, it has a very good battery and I have recharged my iphone off of it and also used my iphone in conference calls via the bluetooth connection for impromptu meetings.I too have compared this to others before making my choice and have had multiple coworkers and friends buy this since then.

Pink!
The pink version is a great value. Folks on zoom and teams calls report that I sound fine and they don’t hear mouse clicks in the background. The speaker is nice for media, but doesn’t go super loud so I can’t quite rock out in my office. However… one star subtracted because it doesn’t stay linked to my phone. After about 45 minutes, whether idle or playing Bluetooth audio, the speaker shouts at top volume, “PHONE ONE DISCONNECTED!”, and stops audio. I jump clean out of my skin every single time. Tapping any button on the speaker wakes it up.

A solid choice for a speakerphone
I have been using a Poly headset for a while now with great success, but after a day full of meetings, even the most comfortable headset can start to become uncomfortable. Since my office is usually pretty quiet to begin with, I decided to look for a good quality speakerphone.I compared this unit to one from Jabra and one from Anker. The Anker was the best price, but didn’t have as many positive reviews as the Jabra or the Poly. I had seen and heard the Jabra in action from a coworker that has one. It is a solid performer, but with my past success with the Poly headset, I wanted to consider their speakerphone as well. So, after much research, I decided to purchase the Poly unit. I am really satisfied with my choice. It is much better looking than the Jabra, feels more solidly built and has better sound quality. I even listen to music on it while I work and it sounds really good! It also has a rechargeable batter built in, but I have only used it tethered to my laptop dock. Supposedly the battery lasts a long time and will allow you to get through several meetings without a charge.I highly recommend the Poly Sync 20!

Overhyped and overpriced
Let me start out by saying that if you are looking for a dedicated speakerphone for traveling, then this unit fits the bill. I can’t say that it is worth the price, which is nearly double similar units that do just as good a job. But the call clarity is good, and the microphones seems to pick up well from distances up to about 15 feet. Where this unit loses points for me is how it was billed as being a multi-use product, meeting the needs of a high quality Bluetooth audio speaker as well. It is NOT! Anything over very moderate volume and the sound becomes completely muddled. If you want clear voices and don’t mind overspending, then this is the unit for you. If you were hoping for a speaker to provide you with both conference call duties and music… then I would look elsewhere.

Lose the headset
Works with MS teams and gives much better voice quality and ability to hear others in conference calls. Good battery life. My office does not permit the speaker to be plugged into the work laptop USB, but the Bluetooth pairs easily. Sounds great and works well. I wish I had made the move sooner.

Did Not Deliver, Then It Quit/Broke
This speakerphone was purchased to get what I thought was “the best” in the market and stop all the issues with laptop speakers & mic i was having with online meetings. Well, at first, it seems everyone heard me better and it seemed to work well. Soon thereafter I started getting complaints to mute my microphone when not speaking because there was all sorts of noise and feedback. The feedback complaints got worse and worse. Contributing to the mess, the speaker would not mute when I pressed the button: the light would turn red indicating mute, and a second later turn green on its own!!! In one meeting, the light was red showing it was muted during a Zoom call but in fact it was NOT MUTED – and i said something really embarassing…… it was more than aggravating, it completely erased my trust in the device or its mute function EVER AGAIN. I like the lighted function, i like the style, IF IT WOULD ONLY WORK IN ITS BASIC FORM – I dont need fancy features, just a reliable, trusty mute button, and an excellent microphone. This speaker delivered on NONE OF THOSE. Very disappointing.20230803: UPDATE – i opened a case with Poly and they replaced the bad unit in May. The replacement worked fine until about June, when it broke again, same exact symptoms. I gave up, put it away. One day in July I plugged it in and voila, it worked. Then last week (about a month later) it stopped working again, even though the Poly management software “Poly Lens” says everything is a-okay with the unit. THE DEVICE IS SO UNPREDICTABLE. Also noticed its drivers/software has not had any updates since 2021. Bottom line: STAY AWAY FROM THIS JUNK!!!!

I bought this device for FaceTime on my iPad. The iPad speakersâs volume is loud enough, but there is never enough clarity when one suffers hearing impairment. The problem is with poor word recognition when sound is emitted from those tiny speakers on the tablet, particularly when speech is rapid and/or poorly enunciated. Hence, a speaker phone is the ideal solution. The good is that the sound quality on the Poly is excellent, with a natural voice tonal range, distortion free. The bad is that, using it on the iPad, the volume maximum may be too low for hearing aid wearers. (Iâm volume hungry!). For music, the sound is just OK. After all, this is not the intended purpose of a speaker phone. As far as the microphones quality goes, Iâm told my voice sounds clear and natural. The pink version of the Poly 20, is marketed at about half the price of the regular version. That makes it a bargain and, despite the niggles, also makes it a 5 star value! The bad is that the price offering changes, seemingly on a daily basis. It is an annoyance! At this date of writing, the asking price is a few dollars higher. But while my order was in transit, the asking price dropped as much as $15. In summary, I would rate the pink Poly 20 with 5 stars. However, if having to pay the full price for the regular model Poly 20, I would drop the rating to 4 stars. I think that is fair because of the cost vs. quality or benefit for the intended purpose.

Easy to use, easy to install and most importantly, it works. The calls are clear, and the background noise is removed.

Couldnât be happier with this speaker. Very sleek design and great microphone, works flawlessly with Teams and Zoom. The Teams button works as expected, and the rocket button can be programmed to a few different functions. A few things to note: this is a great work from home device, but definitely not the greatest sound if you want to mainly use it for media consumption. Also I donât like the sound delay when using Bluetooth so I use the wired connection. However the cable is not long enough to connect to my desktop PC. I bought a USB extension cable and it works great. You will have no problem if you use it for a laptop.
