Awesomeâ¦..
The Presonus midi-interface that I own is a light weight, rugged and very powerful piece of hardwareâ¦the signal strength itself is powerful and the sound quality and clarity are basically pro studio qualityâ¦this interface has multiple levels of adjustability and comes with some great STUDIO ONE SOFTWARE that helps me make amazing musicâ¦

Nice unit, but be mindful if buying a repackaged version
Unit works great and is easy to plug in and go. However, if you bought a refurbished one you won’t be able to access the free software as the unit will have previously been registered. Considering the reduced price, it was still worth the price and if you’re looking for an inexpensive option for an audio interface, you could do a lot worse.

Just What I Needed!!
I’m absolutely thrilled with the PreSonus Studio 68c 6×6 audio interface! The quality of sound it delivers is nothing short of exceptional. The six inputs and outputs provide the flexibility I need for my recording sessions, allowing me to capture every nuance of my music. The compact yet robust design is perfect for my home studio setup, and the integration with my recording software was seamless. PreSonus has truly outdone themselves with the Studio 68c, and it’s become an indispensable part of my creative process. If you’re serious about audio quality and versatility, this interface is an absolute must-have.

Useful for laptop/desktop, not so useful for mobile device
I like the presonus 24c.the four meters are great, two for the inputs, and two for the mains. The mains are useful when using the headphone jack. The inputs are useful for quick gain adjustments. The idea of a single USB-C port for both power and data is great. But in practice, I found it somewhat wanting. With a laptop, it’s actually very nice as it’s a single cable for both, and the sound stays very clean. But for connecting to a tablet, it’s less useful. iPads don’t send out enough power through the lightning port or the new usb-c port to power up the 24c. So, you need some kind of hub in between that handles both powering and data pass-through to the iPad. I don’t have any such hubs, but even if I bought one, it’s one more thing to carry. If I have to run off a usb battery, then that’s 4 things to carry, not including the mic and headphones. So, I would have preferred split ports with the option to run data and power through a single port, or the option to run data through one port and power through another. A simple toggle switch to determine which is preferred.A lot of audio interfaces in the same price range do this. Those devices use older USB interfaces, and frankly, for those devices, the single-port-for-both-power-and-data options is not good, nowhere near the cleanliness of the presonus. But still, I would prefer that choice.I also with the xlr inputs were in the back and the headphone jack was in the front. Seems like most interfaces have the xlr inputs in the front. Not something I prefer, but oh well.Though this may be a lot to ask for such a cost effective device, it would have been nice to have a couple of HPF options and a couple of limiter options. But for the price, maybe that’s pushing the desire a bit. I currently have a sound devices 302 in front of the presonus to handle HPF and limiter duties. A rather expensive way to go, but it works well. All in all, a great little device. clean sound, easy to use potentiometers, simple button for phantom powering, indicator for USB power on. For under $200, damn impressive.

Meets my needs just fine for a simple home music studio
After reading reviews of several audio interface devices, I choose the PreSonus 24c mostly for its two input channels and the included software.I think the additional cost if any, for a two channel unit was worth it.It was easy to setup the interface unit but it will take some time to learn how to effectively use the Studio One software. But I was able to make basic recordings quickly. I have not tried the other software that is available with the purchase.I do not have studio monitors so have only used headphones but since itâs a home studio, that keeps the noise level down.No issues so far and would recommend.Iâm using the unit to record electric and acoustic guitar playing and a little vocals for my own use.

I can’t say enough good things about Presonus/Studio One
I started recording again about 6 months after a 30 yr lay off. DAW’s for home recording…? Oh…hell yeah! I agonized over which DAW & interface to go with. I finally settled on Presonus/Studio One. Thanks in large part to Joe Gilder & Gerhardt from Presonus (look ’em up on YouTube – these guys are extremely helpful). I’m really, really glad I did. The 68c interface has worked like a champ. I will be leaving it behind soon to upgrade to their 16 channel mixer, but the 68c will NOT be leaving my sound room. The Presonus software suite has been great! Their standard plugins pretty much cover everything I need to record & mix. Trust me…the availability of plugins out there will turn your head around as if you were Linda Blair. It’s been pretty easy to learn & any problems I ran into were helped out by the members of their forum along w/ Gilder & Gerhardt. I like to say to go with what you like. Alot of people will swear by other DAW’s & there are some good ones out there, but Presonus/Studio One is what I went with as a DAW noob & it’s what I definitely like.

Works as intended!
Came with a bad USB-C cable, apparently a large batch of these has this problem. Contacted Presonus and they are sending me a new USB-C to USB-C cable as we speak! No problems there, just a bit annoying.Other than that it’s plug and play! It also came with a USB-C to USB 2 cable, so I’m using that until my new cable comes in. Plugged in my speakers and everything is golden, super easy setup on a 2018 Mac Mini. Just set it as your audio source and you’re good to go.I’m mainly using it for monitor output, not recording *yet* since I’m just an EDM producer. But it looks solid and comes with a pretty cool set of software as well! The output level bars are nice to see so you dont overdo it.Overall happy, wish it was a bit cheaper, but I think its the cheapest USB-C interface on the market!

The PreSonus Studio 24c is a powerhouse for any home studio setup! The audio quality is top-notch, delivering crystal-clear recordings with minimal latency. The compact design is perfect for on-the-go musicians, and the USB-C connectivity ensures a reliable and fast connection. Setting it up was a breeze, and the included Studio One Artist software is a fantastic bonus for recording and mixing. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned producer, the Studio 24c is a solid investment for capturing studio-quality audio. Highly recommended for its exceptional performance and user-friendly design.
