I highly recommend it. For more in depth continue reading
The quick review : I highly recommend it .For more in depth continue reading!First up the PROs- Build: This thing is a freaking tank! It weighs about 12 pound and it feels heavy and solid . It really is a quality construction . The body is mostly made out of an aluminum alloy and to be honest I cannot see someone accidentally breaking it .The cord is a very nice and sturdy weave and the cord management are to metal prongs on the back to wrap it around.- Looks : The colors of black , red and silver do compliment each other with a nice clean look . The shiny black plastic also looks great when it’s clean . The LEDs are on the simple side but you can see them and they are not a distraction . There are also 2 LED strips on the side of it which I didn’t even notice till someone pointed it out to me . When you open it up you see a very very nice fabric lined compartment meant to look like dragon scales and very wire management that is behind a plastic covering .- Performance : Full Sanwa JLF and buttons are used and are as you would expect . The PCB used does seem to be a slight bit faster than what is in the Obsidian and maybe even the TE+ . Touch pad works well and it does have a 3.5mm headphone jack ..a rarity to be honest.-Comfort: It’s a big stick. It will fit on your lap well even with your knees apart. The weight feels great as I can mash on the buttons and stick and it doesn’t seem to move much at all . Also the distance between the stick and buttons is a little wider so my hands no longer hit each other .-Convenience: I thought I wouldn’t like not having a compartment for the wire but the prongs are much easier . You just wrap it up and go . Having access to the inside of the stick is also a great thing if you ever want to mod it (I’m not sure if it voids your warranty though ) also has a some space to hold a cloth to clean it and maybe a button or two or a new ball/bat top.And now the CONs:-Portability: It’s a freaking tank! I know I kept saying that the weight of it is a plus and it is in most cases but you are a tournament goer and not used to carrying something hefty around this can be a pain . With no handle or strap attachment I can see some people getting tired of lugging this thing around under their arm. I suggest getting a bag.-Glossy black plastic: It looks great clean but it does attract smudges and finger prints like crazy . I’d imagine it will also get scratched up over time .That’s about it for the CONs. I really don’t have much bad to say about this stick. It is a premium product and it shows.

The most visually stunning, well put together, feature-rich fightstick I have ever seen
The Qanba Dragon has to be the most visually stunning, well put together and feature rich fight stick I have ever seen. However, the Dragon’s size and weight may render it impractical to lug around, if that’s your thing. But I don’t lug it around, aside from occasionally taking it to a friends house, so to me this does not constitute a drawback. I have witnessed fellow users of this stick, when trying it out for the first time, comment on the size and weight (indicating that both are uncomfortable to some degree) when the unit is positioned on the lap during gameplay. I find it to be quite comfortable myself, in both size and in weight, if the unit is positioned on my lap during gameplay, but thought I would mention the critique. The Dragon’s construction is solid, consisting of a good percentage of metal components both inside and out, along with heavy duty plastics and some clothlike material (the dragon scale design on the interior is made of a heavy duty, ornately designed cloth). The black finish on the exterior front panel of the unit is high gloss, which along with the finish of the chrome Sanwa JLF joystick ball-top, shaft cover, dust washer and black on black Sanwa OBSF 30mm pushbuttons gives the Dragon a sleek, professional design. Add to that the deep red, controllable LED light show (also on the front panel) and you are looking at one top rate fight stick. Personally, I usually change the artwork on the front panel of my fight sticks- but due to the beauty of the construction of the Dragon, I could not bring myself to do so, this time opting some graphics in the form of removable stickers to the front panel. On top of its looks, which are impressive, the Dragon has several practical and robust design features, to include a hinged opening to allow access to the interior components. Here is another area where the Qanba Dragon shines – from the dragon scales on the bottom interior panel, to the easily accessible hardware components, allowing for clear cut and simple button and joystick modification. A removable clear plastic panel protects the interior side of the above hardware components, allowing the installation of a preferred joystick and/or pushbuttons. For additional measure, a “button map” is featured on the interior top panel near to the buttons, provided in an effort to prevent confusion when swapping pushbuttons. The hardwired USB cord (for connecting to your PS4/XB1) is protected by a thick gauge nylon, and is stored on the exterior of the backside of the unit, wrapping around two protruding metal posts when not in use. Insofar as the design of the front control panel of the Dragon is concerned, you will find that the button layout, from the PS button to the touchpad, are all centrally located on the front of the unit, for best ergonomic access.

Huge Deluxe Fightstick! Love it!
This is a fantastic FightStick and is probably the most deluxe stick that I have ever held in my hands! I’ve used anything from cheapo Hori Soul Calibur II sticks up to some of the more exquisite HORI HRAP Vewlix, Mad Catz TE2’s, and Razer sticks and this is easily one of my favorites. The box that this FightStick comes in is beautiful and is branded with both the SONY Licensed sticker and Qanba’s own holographic authenticity sticker. First of all, this stick is an absolute monster! It’s huge and weighs a ton. You never have to fight to keep it on your lap as you play due to the weight. The stick and buttons are all high quality Sanwa’s and feel great. The way the buttons click and clack into the chassis sounds great and really give you great feedback. For personal preference I swapped out the stock Sanwa joystick with a Seimitsu stick and was surprised to find it was pleasantly easy. With a single screw you had access to all the stick and buttons. There’s even a diagram underneath that shows what color wires go where. The main cable that comes out of the case that attaches to your computer or console feels as hefty as the Fightstick itself and will probably survive many many years of use and abuse. The only concerns and criticisms I have are the durability of the silver painted area for your palms to rest on. It feels like it can wear out relatively fast based on the amount of time you’ll be playing on this thing. Also, the Start or “Options” button is kind of difficult to feel for and I find myself hitting that button to skip intros or menus as much as I can. Maybe it was purposely designed this way for tournament play. Those are mostly niggling complains and not of any substantial worry.

I got this arcade stick recently in December 2020 as I have been playing a lot of fighting games on my PC such as The Guilty Gear Series, Street Fighter 4/5, King of Fighters.. etc. This device is made for use on the PS 3/4 and PC. I believe because this is a SONY endorsed product, it will be compatible to be used on the PS5. (I have not tested this yet).I primarily game using a PC, so I have only tested this product using a PC on numerous fighting games. For anyone looking to purchase this device, be warned – this is a heavy arcade stick. It is massive! So if you want to game with it on your lap, you have been warned.. it is just over 11lbs! (Dimensions: 20″ x 12.5″ x 5″ Weight: 11.6 lbs) This has a very solid & sturdy build and it feels and looks like a high end product from top to bottom. It comes with Sanwa buttons and it can be easily customized if you choose to make tweaks to it.I have zero regrets on buying this stick. It is worth it. However it is over $300.00 (CDN).It is my second arcade stick as I do have the RAZER Atrox for my XBOX. I do like the look and feel of this stick slightly better than the Atrox. I have attached a photo for size comparison. There are good quality grip pads under the arcade stick, so if you choose to use a table while you game, it will not slide around.Overall, I would highly recommend this arcade stick if you do not mind spending the extra $ for a quality product from Qanba. One thing to note is that the surface of this arcade stick is very shiny with a high gloss finish that does attract finger prints quickly. I would recommend keeping a microfibre cloth close by while gaming.Update: This works with the PS5. Iâm super happy that this device continues to deliver performance in the next generation console.

ive had this since 2017 still going strong, i would buy again if needed, i like the weight of it nice tempered glass. the metal knob on the fight stick is normally cold so i wear a glove on my left hand. i play tekken 7 onlyive used for i guess 300+ hours probably more havent needed to change anything yet it came with a square gate i change to octagonal when it arrived. also took this to two tournaments and it was heavy maybe 5kg i dont have a carrycase so hold under arm. im quite heavy handed and grind off the gate alot and still all crisp inputsedit: 5 years 1000+ hours still crisp inputs and working fine. also regarding the plastic around the buttons someone wrote a paragraph crying about. ive never needed to take it off and i use the underpart of the stick that unlocks to keep my gloves and ethanol wipes to keep stick clean.also works on PS5.edit: 2024: still going strong bought a second from cex modded both hello kitty OP! KING OP!
