i love redragon
Before I start my review I just want to say I got these for $50 and im very surprised these are selling for $66+. First off I enjoy this company, copped a open box pair of the original Redragon H510 from microcenter. I honestly believe this is the best budget gaming headphones you will find, the mic quality is actually insanely good, i have no idea why youtube reviews make them sound terrible. Now specifically speaking about this model the Redragon H510 Zeus X I only have a few major complaints. 1. the fact that the cord and mic is no longer detachable, no idea who thought this was a good design choice but it genuinely sucks and doesn’t allow the user to customize with other mic cords / replace a broken wire. 2. they removed the mute sound button on the headset. Once again, whoever is making these design choices need to be fired, the headset didn’t need rgb in the first place but adding a dedicated rgb button that will 1. never be pressed. 2. resets to default rgb every time you turn on the pc is insane. 3. the fact the mic quality somehow sounds slighty worse than the original H510. Don’t know how this was possible but after thorough testing, it does sound worse than the original. On the positive side, headset still feels as comfortable if not more comfy than the original one because of being that fake pleather, its now mesh and very breathable so now you can have longer gaming sessions without feeling sweaty around the ears. Still an easy plug and play, and still has great sound. If they would just make a new model and keep the mute sound button, detachable mic and cord, and the mesh ear cups with a price of $50 msrp, i promise you, that would be the best budget headset you can buy.

This is my new favorite headset!
I love Redragon products, this one is no exception! If they had a higher quality and higher priced headset, I would of bought it instead, but this was the most expensive and highest quality one they had (usually I buy cheapest products, but sometimes things like this matters)I can hear footsteps in games and the mic is so much better than my previous one. Headset isn’t too heavy, and is adjustable and comfortable too!Thank you Redragon once again for the PC accessories I keep on buying and loving!

Picked this over the Rzer Kracken and I dont reget it
H510 RGB reviewPros:-Good Audio-Great Mic-Volume/mute/etc feels good to the touch-EQ through sound settings-Voice Mod through sound settingsCons:-Cord is shorter than I thought (about 7 feet).-Not true 7.1 surround soundNeutral:-Uses the same Sades software to boost audio.-Fits a little snug for people with wider head (250lb man)Final ThoughtsI upgraded from Sades SA 902. To my surprise, Sades and Reddragon are from the same company which explains why the audio and mic is very good. How I know the H510s do not have true 7.1 surround sound is because it uses the exact same software as my virtual 7.1 Sades SA 902 shown in the picture. The headphone feels more premium for sure. I bought the Asus TUF H3, Steel series arctis 1, and Rzer Kraken X to replace my SA 902. They all failed in terms of mic volume. People couldn’t hear me and were having the hardest time to hear me. I returned all 3 and got this – the H510. I kinda doubt that these 53mm drivers are really 53mm drivers, but they sound exactly like the Kraken so I am happy. I will be honest, I feel like $60 is too much for these as the krakens feel a ton better for the same price – but considering that its audio and mic cant compare to the H510s, these headset are the clear winner when it comes to gaming/discord/teamspeak/etc.

Great headset!
Redragon is a great brand. But double check their website. I didn’t look there first, paid $60 for these and their website had them on sale for like $35 or something close to that.

Excellent headset, but…
Had some issues with the headsets microphone. The nice perk about it is their support is amazing. They quickly RMA’d me a brand new one and my gaming continued. Little small on the ears. I definitely prefer the models which the modual microphones they’re much more user friendly.

A good value for the money and does the job well.
I like these headphones, they have a good sound and the mic seems to do well.I don’t game with them. I use them for my job in a call centre.I like just about everything about them. The only thing I would change is to give a little more length to the adjustments for the earcups.I’ve maxed out the extension and they’re comfortable, but if I put on a cap to keep my head warm, the cups ride up against the bottoms of my ears.

Not good for xbox
I own a few red dragon products and have been happy with the quality so far. I needed a new headset for Xbox and saw that it was compatible with this model. Little did I know that you would have to sacrifice all of your mic controls when you want to use it for Xbox. All you get is the aux if you’re running it on your console. Not any of the controls. I tried it on my computer too and worked okay. Not the best quality. If you’re planning on getting this for Xbox. Don’t. I will be returning.Edit: bumping from a 2 star to a 3 star. Red Dragons Customer service reach oout me and we’re very understanding. They still have some great products, especially for pc setups! This particular product just didn’t work for what I needed it to do.

I like it! ð
I bought this headset to use as a gaming headset. The sound quality is actually pretty nice. In terms of noise cancellation its eh. I have had better. But as affordable as it is, its a great headset! I love that you can chance the color of the rgb on it using the buttons on the cord. Overall I would recommend this headset to anyone looking for a quality headset on a budget.

For the price, these are very good headphones. Not sound canceling, but comfortable and clear. The cloth ones keep the sweat away for about an hour, and I have worn them for 2.5 hours in one session so far. Imo this is the best budget headset I’ve owned to date, and I own Bose noise cancelling headphones (better but 5x the cost, I needed a microphone for co-op). The Red Dragon brand has been good to me so far, I purchased several of their products over the years and am satisfied with them all.
