Customers say
Customers like the performance, value, and fit of the video game console. For example, they mention it works well, is a steal for the price, and the controls don’t feel too terribly cheap. Some appreciate the ease of setup. That said, opinions are mixed on appearance, quality, and ease of use.

Truly a great buy.
This system is awesome. Great for endless hours of NES AND SNES fun.Play many classic NES titles, Super Mario triliogy, Legend Zelda, Mega Man, Tutrles, etc. As well as SNES classic Super Mario World, A Link to the Past and Starfox. It uses the SNES style controllers, which does not allow use for the classic NES controller, or NES zapper. It is unable to play certain games: Battletoads for NES. The game hangs after level 2, though a cheat allows you to jump to level 3. Digger T. Rock: Legend of the Lost City plays title screen, but MANY in-game crashes and graphic glitches that, render it unplayable. For Duck Hunt NES Zapper cannot be plugged in. Does work with NES to SNES adapting cables that have accessory support. However, that NES Zapper only works with a CRT TV set. Maniac Mansion just doesn’t play. Paperboy controller is not recognized. That’s really it for NES which isn’t too bad honestly.A much larger list for SNES. Most notably is Super Mario RPG, due to the NES PAL.Also ALL NES accessories DO NOT and CANNOT work unless NES to SNES adapter. That includes R.O.B.NES Zapper, Power Pad, NES Advantagem NES Max and Power Glove. Also the NES Game Genie does not. Also does not play Famicom games.Still, probably the best clone system of them all. Many clone systems struggle with Castlevania III. Works just fine on this. Star Fox is another many clones struggle with. Again not this one.Super Game Boy adapter works great. SNES game genie works great. Super Famicom games almost usually work. Retro-Bit RetroGEN Adapter Genesis to SNES Cartridge Adapter works great allowing Genesis games to play on i.System is not perfect. But much cheaper than getting a NES & SNES. Plays most games great.

Working wonderfully!
When we first recieved this, we hooked it up and it wasn’t working. We thought it was the S video plug that we were missin, so we were gonna send it back or order a different system. Right before we were gonna box it up to return, my husband tried moving the yellow white and red cords around cause we have 6 inlet holes for that and he got it working. So far it’s been working wonderfully well, we haven’t had any trouble since. We have only used it for snes games so far, we don’t have any games for the other one yet. We also ordered a hdmi s video adapter thing so we’ll be trying that out to see if it makes the video quality better. The video quality isn’t bad though.

Great buy, little more detail on drawbacks
Most of the reviews on here already give a pretty good overview of the product. Whether you buy might determine what exactly you’re using it for. I already have an NES system that I have to work some of the games to get playing, but they play fine most of the time. I bought the system since I figured it would make a good investment to get some classic SNES games and play my NES games with less work (maybe get rid of it?). Most of that was accomplished with some drawbacks. All of the SNES games I’ve purchased so far have played fine with no problems. I will say the SNES mimicked controllers it come with are a bit cheap. I’d occasionally have trouble, especially on NES games, with the directional pad being unresponsive. One game, Burgertime on the NES cartridge, actually reset every time I pressed both the up and left directions at the same time. 🙁 If you are playing this and have a space that is larger than about 6 feet between the console and your couch, I’d recommend picking up the SNES controller extensions with this at the same time. After the system arrived I immediately bought the controller extensions since I wasn’t into sitting on the floor halfway in my living room playing a game.Mention of some problems with NES emulation are true. I had most games play fine, but my baby Super Tecmo Bowl, which I usually play a season of all the way through every few months had some real issues with certain sound frequencies of the audio. The game played fine, but the background music would get “crummy” or soft or static-y. This was pervasive through Tecmo Bowl, and was noticeable in a couple of other games, although most played with no issues.Just to give you an idea of about what you’d be dealing with I tested all my games as follows:SNES Super Mario World – FineSNES Mario Kart – FineNES Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers – FineNES Super Tecmo Bowl – Sound Issues, Else FineNES Ducktales – FineNES Burgertime – Controls unresponsive, random resets of gameNES Tetris – FineNES Megaman 2 – FineNES Megaman 3 – FineNES Bump n Jump – FineNES Contra – Controller unresponsive sometimesNES Batman – Some sound issuesNES Super C – FineNES Metroid – FineNES Dragon Warrior – FineNES Final Fantasy – FineI should also mention that the console also has the same problem the original NES does in terms of loading games. Don’t think you’re done “blowing” NES games! A few of mine, especially Dragon Warrior, took several attempts at inserting/re-inserting the cartridge, blowing on the cartridge, blowing on the pins, etc to get the game to function properly. This problem seemed to be isolated mostly to the NES games. Overall, though, it was much easier to do this a few times with this console since it was a top-loader instead of the NES which was more involved in terms of loading the games in and out each time.Overall, I think it does fine, almost zero problems with SNES games, but NES may have some emulation problems and common cartridge loading issues. I won’t be getting rid of my NES after all, but overall it’s worth a purchase if you’re looking to play some old games and can’t won’t purchase both systems or want all the extra stuff around. Definitely get the controller extenders unless your console is very near to where you’ll be playing. Also, it only comes with Red/White/Yellow and S-video outputs (and cords), so if your HDTV doesn’t have a standard input, you’ll need some sort of converter box as well.Happy Gaming!

Está genial! Puedes jugar NES y SNES en la misma consola, los controles son cómodos y funcionan a la perfección.Ojalá tuviera mejor resolución pero es la mismas que las consolas originales.

Image is perfect on my old CRT tv and the sound is loud and clear in good headphones. Games run smoothly with no input lag at all. Only a few situational fps drops in heavy games like Contra 3 and Doom, not enough to bother me. The controllers are better than i expected, very reactive. Also works with my 3rd party controller. There is a little problem with the Nes side. The slot is too big so the cartridges are loose and the slightest of movement from the console (like an accidental wire pull) will crash or restart the game. This can be solved by putting something like a folded paper between the console and the cartridge, stopping it from moving. No big deal. Off course if you want perfection you better go for an original snes. But for the low price this clone is everything i hoped for.

La imagen es buena, sin llegar a ser excelente. El sonido es decente. Pero la compatibilidad es única. Muy recomendable.
