Fujitsu Carrier Sheets
Been using these happily at work for the past five years so bought some for use at home. The carrier sheets work great for small or delicate documents that may get damaged if put through a scanner without a carrier sheet. If the document is flimsy, has tattered corners or edges, is very valuable and damage is out of the question or the document is too small, the carrier sheets work great! Just slip the item in and run it through the scanner. Please note that if the item is small, if scanned in a carrier sheet, it may come out as a full page size digitally or at least it does on one of the programs I use. There may be settings in the software apps to have it come out digitally as the original size or to resize it once it is scanned–or other software apps may act differently, but I haven’t looked into that. That hasn’t really mattered for my purposes. Just saying in case it is of any importance to anyone else.

Some more design thought needed
I recently purchased the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300 scanner (great product) from Amazon. As I put it to use, I found I needed carrier sheets for small items I needed to scan like receipts, small photos, and like items that are difficult to scan due to their size or ease of scan-ability. I had a couple of choices but went with the more expensive Fujitsu product. On the plus side, I love that both plastic sheets of the carrier are clear. I can use my scanner’s duplex feature to capture an item both front and back in one trip through the scanner. That saves me time. I also love the strength of the plastic used in making the carrier. They appear to be very durable and will last for a long time. The box came with 5 carrier sheets, enough to last me for several years of home use.On the negative side, I have a problem with the design of the leading edge of the carrier. It is a half inch border with black and white bars and an arrow, indicating that the arrow end is the one to insert into the scanner, if yours is not a flatbed scanner. If you have never used a product like this, the hint is nice, but I could do without it due to the results you get from the scan when you use this carrier. I want a near exact representation of the items I scan, not one with a half inch border of black and white bars. There is also an instructional strip on the bottom of the carrier that will appear on your image if you are scanning a fourteen inch page. You would probably end up with the same results if you used the carrier with a flatbed scanner. There is no way to avoid having these as a part of your image unless you want to go one step further and edit/crop it. That is not time saving.UPDATE: I have since learned that this document carrier is not compatible with the S1300 scanner by ScanSnap. I have found another brand that works for me, but is not capable of duplex scanning. It will only do one side at a time.It is for this negative attribute that I had to give the Fujitsu ScanSnap Carrier Sheets a 3 star rating. To me it is a design flaw that could have been avoided thus giving the buyer exactly what they needed. I will eventually invest in a carrier sheet by another manufacturer so I can get away from these borders. They just aren’t professional.UPDATE: I have since learned that this document carrier is not compatible with the S1300 scanner by ScanSnap. I have found another brand that works for me, but is not capable of duplex scanning. It will only do one side at a time. Since this is probably buyer error on my part for not checking for compatibility , I have raised my rating to 4 stars.

Durable, work great. Didn’t need 5, though fewer probably isn’t as economically viable.
I’ve used these at work with our ScanSnap scanners and they are great for paper that isn’t perfectly flat and square. Narrow receipts, news clippings, pamphlets and instruction manuals that are folded…It would be nice to not have to buy 5, but it’s probably not economically feasible.

Works just as great as the original that came with my Scansnap scanner
Works great, just like the original. I use it to scan 11×17 pages. When the 11×17 is folded in half and put into the carrier sheet then scanned in duplex mode, the scanner scans both sides and knits them into one 11×17 page. Greatly improves the functionality of the robust scanner. I’m using the ScanSnap S1500.

Just what I wanted and needed!
To eliminate items moving/shifting when you try to scan multiple receipts and wrinkled sheets, this is just what you need. They work perfectly and are so easy to use. I’d re-order from this vendor, they’re great!Packaged well, arrived on time, in perfect condition, and product was as expected. AAA+++

Amazon Verified Purchase
I’ve been using my first ScanSnap S1500 scanner since April 2010, the second since October of 2010 and just bought a 3rd. The carrier sheets that come with the scanners are very helpful, but if they get used a lot (as in my case) they eventually get marks on them that affect the quality of scans. Therefore I recommend buying extras. Since I move my scanners from office to home sometimes, I keep extra carrier sheets at home. They work well and are well worth the extra expense.

Very happy with how it. Works

I bought it to go with my ScanSnap IX500. They work perfectly – ideal for irregular & fragile pages. I have even used them for pages with photos glued on – normally they would jam the scanner but with these pages they go through no problem.

Das in der Orginalverpackung beiliegende Sheet nach 5 Jahren verschlissen. Die jetzt gekauften 5 Stück werden mir sicher bis ins nächste Jahrzehnt gute Dienste leisten.
