For me, so much better than a smart watch.
Overall I just don’t like being bothered with watches. The smart watches I have tried have worked, but the encumbrance of wearing them and of charging them (while sleeping, which is just when I need them). I got his smart ring and can’t stop wearing it. I charge it when I am in the shower: It takes no time at all and still has at least 90% left even after a day and night of constant use. Having it on a finger and being able to change it to a different (same sized) finger has been great for me. This connected easily with the app for my iPhone, and the data goes into my Apple apps. This is just so easy and unobtrusive. I love it. In fact, I have gotten so used to t that I actually miss when I am not wearing it. The current price is $80 and that is right in the ballpark of a mid-level smart watch. The ring itself seems fairly accurate to my steps, heart rate, and blood oxygen level. I don’t really know about the measurement of my stress level (I always thought I was more stressed than this shows), and my sleep (according to the app I have never been in REM sleep, even though I dream every night). The exercise function is easy to use and appears accurate. The app instruction miss out a bit on English grammar, but it all works out fine. At least I now have something that helps me monitor what the heck I am doing.Update: I have been using this day and night for a few weeks now. The app has yet to indicate I have entered REM sleep, so I would say that this is an inaccurate reading. I have been out for a few 10 mile plus walks. The steps and distance finally caught up to the accuracy of two other apps n my iPhone, which matches the measurements of the people I have been walking with. The heart and blood sensors appear to be accurate. I still love how easy it is to wear this ring.

Could be so much better
I’ve been wearing the ring for 3 days now, and to be honest it’s been a bit of a let down. It doesn’t record you all the time and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out how to turn it on when you first start wearing it. I ended up having to open the app and have it assess my heart rate right that moment in order for it to trigger on. Then I took it off to take a shower and it turned itself off, which I didn’t realize until much later in the day. I do think it has better tracking of my steps than my fitbit does. However, it has not yet once tracked my sleep. I do work midnight shift, and there is not a way to tell the app/ring what your sleep schedule is like. So I’m not sure if it’s because I’m working during the night that it just thinks that I’m not sleeping… but either way, it’s not impressive that it can’t pick up on sleep.I will say that I do enjoy wearing a ring over a fitbit, so I probably will splurge for the Oura now that I know I enjoy it. I did wear my fitbit simultaneously to compare the two. The ring calculated more steps and the HR monitoring was very similar. I just think that this ring/app needs more adjustment before it can compare with the larger companies.

LOVE IT!! (I didn’t think I would)
Ok. I am not going to lie I thought this may be more hype than help but I find this to be one ring to rule them all (bad joke but I have bad humor). All features work as stated. I use this for 3 reasons, measuring my stress levels, my heartrate, and my sleep. All three work great and I love how easy the app is. The heartrate is within two numbers plus or minus of my cuff. More than acceptable. The sleep feature is also quite detailed in analysis and I find I check it daily when I wake. So far on the stress level I am pretty normal no calm down needed yet. Oh and it does last a week if you turn off some real time monitoring to only when you open app. I turn off stress and heartrate as I have my phone always handy. Now about the app. I am having an issue that is yet unresolved. Not a deal breaker and maybe it is something I am doing wrong on my end but here it is. When you first download app you are prompted to make an account, once that is done you pair the ring. This account is to keep track of your stats which is fine, but it offers to link to google fit (I have a droid) but will not link no matter how many times I try. Just goes into a loop asking me to link then I click yes and back to asking me to link etc. I have reached out to the app contact but as yet no answer. Again not a deal breaker as the app itself monitors every feature but I wanted to point this out as a YMMV issue. Oh I wish it would notify me on my phone that battery is low on ring and it does not so when in doubt check the app for battery level. 5 Stars!

Great constant readings, charge about weekly, nice options.
I have been very pleased with the readings from the QRING Smart Ring I ordered. It gives me an easy accurate reading, I feel, on the sleep I get each night, and quality of sleep and tracks it. It can menstrual cycles, stress, oxygen levels, activity, steps, and heart rate. I like the way it looks, itâs comfortable to wear, very easy to charge with the accompanying cable; just wish I didnât have yet another specific use, usb cable to keep track of.It connected easily to the app and hasnât lost connection once. I wear it swimming, showering, doing chores all my regular activities. I did measure as I was told on Amazon and ordered accordingly, yet itâs really at least a size too big. I wondered because I know my ring size and based on the measurements it wanted me to order larger than my ring size. I decided I better go with what they suggested and I wish I didnât because Iâm constantly afraid of losing it, so just order your normal ring size.I appreciate all the options for working out and activities, but Iâd prefer if I could prioritize my favorites and move those I use to the top of the list. With pages of activities to scroll through to find the one Iâm doing, it takes too much time. Then a bit frustrating. Also, Iâd prefer to be able to toggle back to main page not stuck looking at timer only until I quit my workout. Let me choose. I may want to watch my mikes, calories, or steps or heart rate not minutes to determine my goal.At the end of the day the Q Ring totals are different from my Watch, but they are both close. I like the Q Ring as it lasts not quite a week on one full charge, itâs quick to charge, easy to wear and very handy. So glad I ordered this.
