Good sound, incredible customer service
I have a 42â Panasonic HDTV in the bedroom whose sound I wanted to improve without spending a lot of money. This system was reasonably priced, easy to set up, and gave very good sound reproduction. I purchased it in January â23; after about five months it stopped powering on. After pressing all the buttons on the unit and the remote, cycling the power, and praying to the electronics gods, I gave up. A few weeks later I tried again, and it powered up. Unfortunately, then I couldnât switch inputs, either from the unit or from the remote, so again, the soundbar was effectively useless. I figured I would just write it off because I hadn’t spent a ridiculous amount of money on it.Shortly after revising my review to reflect these issues, Larksound contacted me through Amazon. A few days later I had a brand new unit in hand. This is the kind of attentive customer service I would expect from a high-end audiophile company. It speaks volumes.

Stay Away
My soundbar arrived and I set it up just fine, but then the next day it wont turn on or respond to the remote. My LG smart tv recognizes the device, but the device itself will not power on. I returned it, and after a very confusing return process in which the seller tried to deflect responsibility to Amazon for the refund (they told me that Amazon would have to do the return because it was within 30 days of purchase, but then Amazon customer service intervened and explained that seller handles their own logistics) they sent me another one. When it arrived, I had a lot of difficulty setting it up this time, and only after reading other reviews did I learn that the remotes have a tendency not to work unless held perfectly level, directly in front of the unit (what’s the point of a remote then?) so after learning that and using the remote accordingly, I got it working, but then the next day it wont turn on and the same issue as the first time. So we really got the trifecta of bad here: the product itself is faulty in a variety of ways, the seller seems somewhat aloof, and also, the subwoofer didn’t do anything at all for me, so if you’re a fan of bass, or working products in general and not having a lot of your own time wasted, stay away.

Perfect for the price
I love this speaker and sound bar. I was iffy about it because of the reviews. I love it. Itâs been a few weeks, most issues I had were user era. If the device didnât turn on or off for me, I had to point the remote directly in front of the soundbar, not the side, itâs an inconvenience but itâs still a good device. I love the base to it. It sounds amazing. Some videos I play on YouTube made me think it was the device that wasnât working properly, itâs actually the videos themselves. This thing gets really loud or soft depending on your preference. It works perfectly with my iPhone, Chromebook, and Amazon fire tablet. I mainly use it for Bluetooth and havenât had any issues with static or connectivity. I highly recommend. I wasnât trying to build a huge entertainment area, just wanted something small and affordable. I love you can mount the soundbar and the speaker is small enough to tuck close by. I highly recommend the purchase.

Great sound for the price. Remote faulty.
I can confidently say this provides a more cinematic experience whether youâre gaming, streaming, or just trying to fill the house with music. It has so much more volume than my television which is really what I was looking for – but the subwoofer takes it to another level. It packs a punch!Set up is super simple, with or without instructions. I just used the HMDI hook up. But bluetooth is an option as well, which I love. I was rolling with new sound in less than fifteen minutes.*** The remote, however, stopped working less than a week after installation and set up. Trying to figure out a replacement with Larksound has not been easy to say the least.

Stopped working.
I’ve used this item maybe 5 or 6 times in last year. Went to use it today and it wouldn’t even turn on. Sat next to my TV most of this time and when I finally went to use it it doesn’t even workI am changing my review after this happened because after getting a hold of Larksound through email, I was able to have the manufacturer 1 year warranty honored, and in turn they replaced the item! So glad that this company obviously cares about the happiness of their customers because most places would have made u order a new one and buy a protection plan or something.Besides this little mishap the speaker itself is pretty good. It’s not the best either but for the price it definitely provides the sound and bass essential to consider it a home theater. Thank you larksound for making things right and providing a good product.

Shuts off for no reason, no USB Cable, says all cables included, read carefully
EDIT – I am giving up on this and getting something else. There is no way to the sleep setting off and it constantly turns off on me while using my computer while listening to music. Actively using my computer and the unit just turns off.If you are buying these, be advised that not all cables are included, even though it says they are. The information says all cables included, until you read it closer and realize they did not list the USB cable. This requires a USB A-A cable if you are using that type of connection and that is the one cable they do not include.EDIT- updating this to 2 stars. The speaker will shutoff randomly for no reason. I have Spotify playing in the background and after about 5 minutes the speaker turns off and I have to turn it back on again. This has been going on for a couple of months and I looked at other solutions posted and none of them apply. This is not inactivity, it is actively playing music and just cuts out.
