What’s this? I should have a title for a radio?
Delivered and find shape!Easily hooked up and installed in my component rack.Very obscure instructions a little vague however if you are an adult and have used sophisticated components in the past you should have no problem!!Very pleased with the capabilities and soundHighly recommend using an outdoor antenna connection. Stay safe have fun ð

Not ideal but a good value.
I searched for months for an uber-affordable amplifier/receiver that could serve as a home theater/stereo system and to use when I play small venue gigs with my guitar and a wireless microphone. I have already returned a Pyle amp because the remote was essentially useless for my purposes. I’d found a set of Yamaha tower speakers in one garage sale and a full set of JVC home theater speakers in another, combined cost $25. I connected them all to this amp/receiver and I’m generally satisfied with what I got for $99 with an instant coupon. While the remote does work on the volume, which is what I wanted, it doesn’t have an on/off control. I can get by with that. I have optical-to-RCA input from my smart TV and with the set-up of my speakers, it spreads the sound around the room and the subwoofer adds some richness and depth to the sound. I haven’t gigged with it yet but did plug my Yamaha Transacoustic and my mic, and it sounded good in my 25 x 20 room. I’ll try to update the next time I gig.Overall, for a cobbled-together $125 sound system, I’m not disappointed.

poor design
I needed a two channel with active subwoofer output amp or receiver for low level music from two line level sources. And it worked for that, but there are some serious flaws. Warning, volume control is is continuous electronic knob that only works when powered up. After I connected everything, I turned it counterclockwise a bunch before powering up. But when I powered it up the first time it was blasting FM inter-station noise. The unit does not match the instructions that came with it. The antenna connection on the back of the unit is nothing compatible in North America or anything I have ever seen. It should be coaxial threaded fitting, or two terminals for a simple dipole. It is a smooth barrel that is too big for RCA, and doesn’t work for a coax fitting. The unit came with a single wire (not a dipole) marked for an antenna, but there is no way to connect that either. It is not compatible with the unit. It has A/B speaker outputs, but also a set of surround outputs. Why? This is not a surround receiver. There is no level control for the sub output. And worst of all is the remote. It is a very small two tone grey remote. A few of the lower buttons are marked with white arrows. But all the upper functions buttons are labelled with bronze looking labels. Even under a bright lamp the contrast is so poor it is unreadable. Yes it is dirt cheap. But it is so poorly designed and executed as to be useless.

You get what you pay for
OK so I needed a cheap reciever for my garage I wasn’t looking for something fancy and not pricey, so I bought this used. OK so I hooked my speakers which by the way you are going to need banana plugs for the main. It seems you can’t preset the radio stations seems like it already does it for you, even the static stations. And the stations come in kind of statically, no matter where I put the antenna. Very straight forward system with some quarks. The remote as mentioned in other posts is worthless. I wouldn’t recommend this system unless like me just needed something for my garage. I have this unit hooked up to a pair of jbl 4ohm speakers and a 10″ pioneer subwoofer. It is my Frankenstein lol. I’m glad I bought a used and not new

Good receiver
I like the unit, it has great sound and was easy to figure out the controls. I wish the sound could go a little lower and user manual is a joke. The manual is so far out of date, that had I not done the research on this unit, I would have thought I got the wrong receiver. I bought the Starfavor speakers as well and together it makes for a great system. The sound control and manual are why I gave it only four stars. I would recommend this receiver. I would probablely buy again.
