Nice Rugged TV. Plays Videos from USB
I already owned 2 TCL Roku tv’s. I bought a Google TCL tv to replace an Insignia in the master bedroom. I’ve converted the 214 DVDs that we owned into MP4 format, placing them on a USB drive. The TCL Roku tv’s will play videos on USB drives formatted to exFAT, NTFS, FAT32, etc. The Goodle TVs only recognize FAT32, which is for 32gb and under usb. You can force a large usb to format to FAT32, but the Google Smart TVs take forever to populate the videos, and that’s not a given. Eventually, the Google was just a pain to try to play the videos. So I returned it and got the ROKU.The usb is formatted to exFAT and contains all videos. The ROKU TCL recognizes the usb and populates the videos immediately. I’ve had no issues with it. That proves TCLs build quality.I’ve owned a Samsung TV for 15+ years prior to buying the first TCL and I’m just as happy with the TCL. The picture quality is excellent. You get a lot of bang for your buck. We’ve owner a larger TCL roku for over a year. One week after receiving it, it got knocked to the floor. I figured that was all she wrote. Imagine my surprise when I set it up and got it going again, with a perfect picture. We’ve never had an issue with it.

Excellent TV for the price
Bought this for my mother who still had one of those “entertainment centers” that she didn’t want to get rid of and fit perfectly into the 4:3 space allotted for one of those old tube TVs (hah!).Being a person who loves a great picture and sound from my TV I give this 4 stars on picture, it could be better and between 3-4 stars on sound. It’s “average” on the sound front. But then you take into account the price and all the bells and whistles like Roku built-in etc. and you’ve got a 5-star product. A better than average TV looks with all the other stuff makes this a buy IMHO.

Pretty great tv
Purchased this tv to add to a gaming “lounge” for my kids. The remote came with dead batteries, but once that was solved, it was easy enough to set everything up. Sound quality seems fine without the need for an additional sound bar. The picture quality is great. There are a ton of streaming services available on Roku. The remote is also great. A lot of remotes have very soft buttons which I hate, but this has more firm, clickable buttons that are just very tactile.

TCL 32 Inch 1080p TV an TV Excellent Value
Got this TV for kitchen use. I watch quite a lot of football (soccer) and with the previous TV it often was difficult to see the ball when it was on the opposite side of the pitch from the camera. This TV screen size and our TV provider’s max.1080P resolution which matches this TV’s spec. result in being able to see plainly what I could not see well previously. Roku setup was quite easy and TV was set up for streaming.Only problems are that sometimes when using the provided remote control to access our TV provider’s menu and running through several days’ viewing programming, if returning to the starting point and attempt to access the menu again that function then will not work and we have to return to the Roku Home function and begin viewing again from the Roku home start screen. Bought a second remote control which is not branded Roku and so far that actually works better than the original. Also with all of our branded Roku remote controls because of the audio volume, etc. controls location it is too easy to accidentally contact and change those when handling the controller for other functions such as channel selection. but with the second remote control that so far is much less a problem.Overall this TV is a quite a bargain and Amazon provided excellent service with the ordering and shipping process.Edit: After three months this TV failed – no picture. TCL warranty service answered my problem promptly but from then on the service was quite complex and time consuming, having to go through a complex series of steps before TCL would acknowledge that the TV was defective. Several photos required to be submitted and even a video of the non-functioning TV screen while the TV was being switched on. The good outcome was that despite TCL’s printed warranty requirement to return the TV at my expense that was ignored and TCL sent a replacement at no cost. Revised the star rating from 5 to 4 to reflect the defect and failure problem.Edit again: Using the replacement TCL 32 inch TV as a computer monitor, surprisingly works fine in portrait display mode which I normally use, as well as in landscape mode. TV is mounted on swivel VESA mount. Easy setup – TV setup mode recognizes computer plugged into HDMI socket, upon startup the screen immediately provides the options of using it as a computer display or as a Roku TV.

I’m partial to Roku TV’s and this one is just what my budget needed
So far the quality is good. I will say this though, the volume is something else! I can only have it on 10 or less or it’s too loud. And it goes up to like 80. If you added a surround speaker, wow! This is going to shake the walls!!

the remote works for me!
HOWEVER!! for some reason the roku remote tries to control my ceiling led lights?? its the most bizarre thing pressing puse will make the lights strobe out of nowhere and various other commands as well. ive had to just keep my lights off when watching tv (which isnt the worst compromise) but just fair warning to anyone who WOULDNT EXPECT IT. otherwise the tv works great! the picture is clear and its surprisingly so light, very easy to move around.

la Smart llegó defectuosa en el Display, tiene dos manchas negras por lo que quiere decir que en un par de años ya no servirá
