A MUST read for anyone interested in connecting with people!
Concise, engaging, full of great examples of thought-provoking conversation tips for any of us who want to connect with people we meet in social and business settings and are just not sure how best to start a conversation and keep it going. A great resource to keep close at hand. Re-reading a section before going to a gathering or event, where you will be meeting new people, will increase your confidence and comfort in new situations. There are also very helpful tips on how to apply all of the author’s recommendations to virtual events and meetings. Worth buying this newest edition.

Great way to improve your interpersonal skills.
This book has many practical ideas to help people more effective in talking with others. I wish I’d seen this book years earlier as it could have helped me manage those many business meetings/social events better. A couple of ideas I really liked were to give yourself a goal of number of people to meet prior to walking into a gathering. Also some practical suggestions for joining a group of people which I always found difficult. She makes the reading easy as well.

There’s a cheat list for you to prepare you in any social situations. There’s no excuse for me now to not have enough things to talk about with absolutely anyone. Practice, practice, practice.
