Really Cool
This is a great mouse; it feels great in the hand, and just looks really cool. The resolution indicitaor lights on top look cool, and the flowing multicolor lightbars on the bottom look really slick as well. The thumbstick on top is especially nice, and is really great for easily adjusting the map in RTS and tactical wargames (such as BattleTech, which I play A LOT.) The bottom two thumb buttons are placed just a bit too far forward and can be a little hard to reach, but that will depend on the angle of your arm and how you hold the mouse (they would be much better if they were positioned just a bit further back, closer to the palm.)I got this mouse because about two months ago I suddenly developed a really bad case of tendonitis in the middle two fingers of my mouse hand, to the point that my finger knuckle went *CLUNK* every time I bent my finger, and eventually I couldn’t even close my fist. I had seen upright ergonomic mice like this before and thought they looked cool but I never had a reason to justify the cost of buying one before, but when I developed the tendonitis I decided I’d give one a try to see if it helped. And thankfully after starting to use this mouse instead it cleared up after a few weeks.I had initially worried that it would be hard to get accustomed to this new style of mouse with my hand in a different position, but I quickly realized that it was actually easier for me and gave me even more control than with a standard mouse; the position of your hand on the mouse allows you to rest the heel of your palm on the mousepad, allowing you fine precision control over the movement of the mouse. You just need to make sure that your mousepad has a surface that isn’t too slick or the mouse can slide all over the place the moment you take your hand off it.I only wish it was wireless, since I use a laptop that I literally sit on my lap and the cable can get in the way, but that isn’t any kind of complaint against this mouse in particular; the cable is actually really nice and coated in a woven fabric material that keeps it from getting all tangled and knotted up.Overall it’s a really nice mouse, and I consider it well worth the price.

Great mouse but D Rocker isn’t perfect.
I will start with the Cons. The thumb rocker on top gets bumped sometimes. Especially if I start relaxing my hand while aiming and I slide my thumb up. When that happens it interrupts what I’m doing. It’s WASD based so when I am in game it can change my position when aiming. When I am writing it can type a W, A, S or D. or even select a tool based on those letters. A if you pressed the key by mistake. Great concept. I have it plugged in right now. I will use the five D Rocker directions: aaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwdddddddssssss . That’s left, up, right, down and pressed is the space bar. Which means in most cases if I need to use the keyboard… there is not reason to have the rocker getting in the way. If you need to do Shift+ or Ctrl+ or Alt+ with WASD you still have to hit the keyboard so might as well use keyboard. In their defense I get the fact the mouse movement itself is like rockers on controllers and that input (-y, +y, -x, +x) was already taken so using WASD makes perfect sense. Now for the Pros…Love the ergonomic design. Like with all these style it really helps the wrist and easy to get used to. It’s well made. Speed control is outstanding. Comes with a Velcro strap attached to the long braided cable for portability and cable management. Beautiful LED pattern. Great price point. The two thumb buttons are down low under the thumb. I find that way easier to press than above the thumb like some ergo-mice do. Plus when the thumb raises up it effects the stability of control. So perfect button placement and size for easy feel for the thumb. This mouse is 99% perfect. It really is. I bump the rocker sometimes. I don’t really use the rocker much. But there are times I have run around in-game and I can use one hand to go from point A to B while free to eat and drink with my left hand or adjust my headset even. LOL

Aids my wrist issues.
I’ve been gaming since I was 5 years old and have suffered from wrist pain issues constantly occurring as I had grown up. Recently, I began to grow more concerned of it more than ever and decided to buy this mouse. To put it simply, it really does help out with the issue of wrist posture that other mice give. This vertical mouse allows your wrists to pronate at a natural grip and eases the pain away. I’ve substituted my GPRO G303 Shroud Edition for this mouse– and don’t worry, I haven’t fully thrown that away, just using this as it is better for me at the moment, health wise. Getting used to it can take a while, but I adjusted over the week. Would buy if you have the same issues as me, and are looking for a solution.

Stylish, pretty and super comfortable.
I do not play games but I do use word processing and web surfing a lot. Therefore, I found some fingers sometimes were very numb or stiff. Not frequently but a few times so far has made me slightly worried. In order to salvage this situation, I need to reduce using the same muscles over and over again and use different ones instead. Therefore, I have looked at different design and I like how this design uses the thumb for forward and backward. I decided on getting this one. When it first arrived, I was a bit overwhelmed because of all the buttons. But once it is hooked up, it is natural to use and feel really good in your hand. The rainbow color lights are so pretty and I sometimes just stop to look at it for a while to relax. I do not use or program all the buttons but I use major ones to do what i needed. therefore, it is good enough for me. So far, I feel this is a good solution to my fatigue and pain in my hand. Here are a few things to note: mine does not come with any software so I searched online and was able to download software for c-18 mouse and install right away. The software contains Chinese, English, Japanese and German version. I installed the English one. For me, I have to adjust the sensitivity to lower. The default was way too fast for me. However, if you crave for speed in games, you can adjust to highest. I am using absolute lowest for now. See my photos for screen shots of software program to know where to adjust the sensitivity.

I spend so much time using a PC, for work and for personal reasons, and I have tried many different keyboards and mice over the years. When I tried my first vertical mouse, a cheap chinese wireless one, I really liked the idea. Then i bought a VERY pricey mouse and it was the most deceiving thing I have used in a long time, I even returned it. Then I decided to try this one but I had very low expectations…I have been using it for almost a year now, and I can confidently say I would buy the same mouse again (I will, when this one stops working). I have quite regular hand with long fingers and it fits my hand really well. (I would have liked a pinky finger rest but that’s not a big problem since I’m not using a mousepad, my finger slides on the wooden desk)The joystick IS NOT a joystick, but it’s perfect as it is. You can map 4 buttons on it, and I use up and down for volume, left and right for copy paste. Works like a charm.I’m not a competitive gamer and it’s OK for everything I play. Anyway, if you play FPS games and such, any vertical mouse will be a problem because when you click, it pushes the mouse on the side. So I wouldn’t call this mouse a gaming mouse, they probably call it like that because of the LEDs!Last but not least: the price! Incredible value in my opinion! Totally worth it!

Firstly, it takes a while to become accustomed to the different format. If you can get past this then the mouse is as easy to use as the normal configuration. The mini joystick may as well not be there. I never use it and it just feels clumsy. It is easy to program and set up.Is it ‘better’ than a normal mouse? Ultimately it comes down to personal preference. On the other hand, no one else is going to ‘borrow’ it so that’s a plus!

It’s great, both the mouse and the software are wonderful. In my case, it’s a little uncomfortable because it’s a little bigger than my hand. And I won’t give it the five stars because the joystick (given a wonderful, high-quality joystick) doesn’t work as a joystick but only as a keys shortcut.
