I mounted mine to a 1.5” pole and then to a weatherproof box which was screwed to the side of my house and RV garage.
Installation Instructions for extending the signal from one point to another. I needed Wi-Fi in my RV garage which is about 150’ from my house. I was only getting 1 bar (if that) from my house Wi-Fi. It is unknown how the one on the RV garage will hold up in the Idaho summer. It faces south so it will get heated a lot.
Just imagine these as an invisible ethernet cable. I bought a set to get wifi to my brother’s barn which is 77 yards from his house according to his golf range finder.
I configured a wireless router I had laying around as an access point and plugged that into the receiver antenna. What that does in effect is give multiple devices access to the receiver antenna/internet. We’re streaming just fine in the barn with this unit.
🚀🚀【WiFi 6 technology with 6-antenna design】This gigabit router uses advanced WiFi 6 technology and is equipped with an 6-antenna design to achieve stronger signal coverage and efficient data transmission. The high speed router supports 2.4G and 5.8G dual-band concurrency, allowing you to enjoy a stable and smooth network connection no matter where you are in your home.
💎💎【Four-sided heat dissipation design】We are well aware of the importance of heat dissipation in routers, so we specially adopt a four-sided heat dissipation design of the network router. This design can ensure that the gaming wifi router can still maintain good heat dissipation effect when running under high load, effectively extend the service life, and ensure the stability of the network connection.
💡💡【One-click WPS connection & MESH function】The internet router supports one-click WPS connection function, allowing you to easily achieve fast and secure wireless connections. At the same time, we also support the MESH function, which allows you to easily expand network coverage, achieve network coverage without blind spots in your home, and meet your network needs in various scenarios.
👉👉【Strong applicability in multiple scenarios】This long range wifi router is not only suitable for use in home environments, but also can be perfectly matched with bridges, APs and other equipment to create a comprehensive, multi-scenario network solution for you. Whether you are surfing the Internet, entertaining at home, or working in the office, we can provide you with a stable and efficient network connection.
🌐🌐【Comprehensive network security】For the importance of network security to users, the ethernet router provides multiple security protection measures. Supports WPS, WPA/WPA2/WPA3 encryption standards to ensure your network data transmission is safe. At the same time, we also provide security protection functions such as SSID hiding, guest network, and anti-DDOS attacks to allow you and your family to surf the Internet with peace of mind.

Good signal strength! Strong build!
This router is not bad at all. The signal strength works well within a 50 ft distance. Has pretty fast speeds. It’s a well-built looks modern and nice. Very easy to set up. Really love it. Very worth it!

Firmware is broken and no updates
Oh, where to start on this device. The internal software is broken in multiple places. It needs a major firmware update but, there doesn’t seem to be one available. The heat dissipation seems to be good but, I do have it sitting on a wire rack with plenty of open air flow. The quality of the build, seems to be strong. Also, obtaining the 1GB speed is close but, not with any test we performed on the unit. For the price and the current errors on the device, we can’t recommend this product. If the company could supply an updated model with newer firmware, solving these problems, that would change my rating from a two star, to a five star. D+ rating for now.

Underwhelming
Picked this up to use at home instead of the built-in router that comes with my AT&T Fiber gateway. Setup was easy enough, although having a dedicated app would’ve been nice; the web admin page is well laid out and works well. I got a slight speed bump compared to the built-in router I was using, but ran into a couple of issues that were dealbreakers for my use cases:
#1) Chrome Remote Desktop ran VERY poorly. Frequent freezes/stutters/lag, regardless of what computer I was connected to.
#2) Port forwarding did not seem to work properly (tested with Emby + attempting to use the Emby Server on remote devices).
I was hoping this would be a nice upgrade, and for most folks it probably would be. But the issues I encountered were too much for me to try to find workarounds for.

Working well so far
My old router was becoming unstable, so it was time to upgrade. This one promises WiFi6 compatibility so why not make the leap. For me, I found the setup was pretty straight forward, but for those that are maybe a little less tech savvy, this could be a challenge. I ran into the issue of older tech not seeing the new network and I had to dig around a bit to find the WiFi5 compatibility mode. In the end I now have 4 SSIDâs broadcasting, two to accommodate the 2.4/5g bands and two to accommodate the WiFi5 compatible 2.4/5g bands.
Iâm using this as a separate router network access point in the basement of my house, isolating the devices on this network from the devices on the router access point I have on the main floor. That doesnât mean the signal doesnât reach the first floor, it just means I have a better and faster connection if I connect to the router on the appropriate level. I should just configure a mesh network so devices can pass off between the two, but for now this setup works well for me.
Speed of the connection based on a check of fast.com is on par with the wireless router it replaced, but remember I had to put it in compatibility mode, so that is potentially hampering my throughput.
This router meets my needs, and at this price point, itâs almost half of what I paid for my last name brand router. Seems like a good value to me.

Better than expected
Iâve purchased a couple of different routers in the past year that worked, but I didnât feel that I got full house coverage. This router solved those problems. It did take some time to setup, Iâm not sure if it was user error, or the included instructions but it did take longer to setup either way. I now have full coverage in my house, and even have signal in my detached garage that Iâve never had before with any of our other routers. So far Iâm very pleased with this.
