These lenses are amazing!
I am not a professional photographer. I am a business owner with multiple websites that I am converting to contain multiple video clips and still photos. I have the S4 phone that takes much better video than the still and video camera’s that I own but was dissatisfied with the focal length (I think that’s what it’s called) of the camera as well as having no ability to mount the phone to a tripod (what I purchased to mount to the tripod is reviewed elsewhere). I looked at the Makayama system for the S4 and the iPad mini and didn’t like the cost or the fact that the tripod mounting hole was plastic so I looked for an alternative camera mounting/lens system I could build of which this lens system plays an integral role.Wide Angle lens: The lens itself is well made and has no defects in the case workmanship nor did it have any flaws in the actual lens itself. They are simple to mount to the S4 phone (I also use it on an S3 and an iPad Mini). The mount holds the lens securely to the phone and the gasket blocks ambient light from entering the bottom of the lens at the attachment site to the phone). The wide angle lens displays no light loss, no distortion and no bending of the flat surfaces within the rooms I was filming. The pictures come out extremely well. I was able to capture the entire scene with the wide angle lens that I was not able to capture without the lens.Fish Eye Lens: The quality of the lens is the same as the wide angle lens. No defects, good quality and tight/secure fit to the S4 and iPad Mini. I played with this lens a bit but didn’t take any pictures. From the playing (basically viewing different scenes and subjects through it) it looked like the lens did a pretty good job of creating the fish eye look but since I have no prior experience with fish eye pictures am guessing here.I also tested the focus ability and the zoom capability of the S4, S3 or iPad Mini with these lenses on them and all the devices were able to focus perfectly and the zoom capabilities were unaffected on any device. They are robust and should last quite a long time. The rubber gasket that cushions the lens against the S4 body is easy enough to replace when it wears away (which it eventually will) so I don’t consider this an issue.I am very pleased with these lenses and the added capability and flexibility that these lenses brought to my devices.

Great value for a small price!
I purchased this lens kit to take on a trip to Europe this summer to have more tools available for shooting more versatile shots from my iphone. I haven’t gone on my trip yet but have gotten a chance to play around with these lenses and test them out and I love them! They are easy to change out and easy to clip on to my phone or my ipad (works on either) I’ve been able to capture some great shots with them and can’t wait for Europe!Pros:- Easy to use- Small and compact- Interchangeable with multiple devices- Comes with protective pouch and lens capsCons:- I notice a slight blurring of photos taken with the lenses on the edges (I believe this is totally acceptable for this price point)- No lens cap to protect the back of the lens. The pouch protects the lenses from scratches but a back side cap would protect the lenses from dust particles.Overall, I definitely recommend these lenses to anyone who would like the versatility of shooting wide angle, fish eye, or macro (extremely close up) shots from their phone or tablet.

Nice kit of stuff
The overall quality of the lenses seems OK; it’s a nice little kit and there are thoughtful bumpers so you don’t scratch up your phone. But the clip will only work if you have a phone where the camera lens is in the corner; it can reach an inch or so in from the edge of the phone and since the other side of the clip grabs your screen, that will be obscured. Probably fine for an iPhone or something. I have a Nokia 808 PureView and the aperture of the lenses is too small so there are some serious vignette issues, particularly with the macro lens.

Good lenses, no instructions
I’m no camera expert, but these lenses seem to work fairly well. I uploaded a few images if anyone needs proof. The wide angle lens consists of the macro lens attached to a second lens. Take off the second lens, and you’re left with the macro. I’m not sure that everyone realized this, and that may be why people aren’t getting good macro images. No instructions were included, which doesn’t help. Also, my phone is already pretty thick, so the lenses don’t really fit if I have a case on. I saw some reviews where people said it worked alright with their phones and cases, though. Just keep in mind that a case may or may not get in the way. Finally, at least on my phone, I can see a bit of the edges of the lens when I’m using the wide angle. If I’m very careful with centering the lens, they’re almost unnoticeable in the corners of the image. I guess this will vary based on your camera and whether or not you have a case. Of course, the image can just be cropped.

Terrible lens quality compared to another product I already had and was using.
Great idea, but the lens quality of this totally sucked compared to another thing I had bought a few years back. The other one I had was magnetic (Cellularfactory: 0.67x Macro Magnet Mount Conversion Lens for Iphone Apple) and has great quality.Note that the description for that other item I note says iphone but it works great on any cell phone. You basically attach some metal ring to your phone (sticky adhesive on the one side of it) such that the magnet part of the lens will then snap right on.Do yourself a favor, search out that item and don’t bother with this one. You’ve been warned. If I had the spare time I’d post example macro photos using each lens to show you what I mean, but trust me, it’s very apparent that the lens in this product pales in comparison to that other product.

I find these very easy to use! I bought these mainly for the macro lens and was not disappointed!. The fish eye is cool, but I just don’t have a use and the wide angle, my phone has a great wide angle lens already, so this added lens doesn’t get used for me personally. The macro lens is great and once you practice that steady hand, you can get some amazing shots!Minus a star on picture quality only because you really have to hold steady and the focal point can be a trick. But, still a great lens to try out and practice with and the shots you do get are pretty great! I think it just takes practice, so really I still think 5 stars.
