Works with Chromecast HD with NO dropouts
I had a different model I bought earlier. It would randomly drop communications, the very thing I didn’t want and got a wired ethernet for in the first place. So I replaced it with this gigabit model. I’ve never had it so good. I have had perfect connectivity and not a single loss of connectivity and all the video hanging that causes. This works great right out of the box. Do not bother with that 12$ unreliable Zemite thing… for only 5$ more all the dropouts and movie halting stops cold. You will be much happier with this, I promise. I am.

Works Great at 200 megabits per second
Unfortunately, I don’t have a 2.5gbps network to test it to its claim speed, it works great on my 200mbps Ethernet Internet connection: connects easily and flawlessly, stable connection; no issues what so ever. Physically accepts RJ45 plug solidly with a very reassuring “click”. Lights are conveniently placed on both sides of the notch for the RJ45 clip. The attached cable is a little stiff for my liking, but it is well protected inside a braided outer covering with excellent strain relief at both ends, so it should last a long time. Also, it’s short enough that when put into a soft computer case, it shouldn’t get tangled with other cables in the bag. I recommend it, at least up to 200mbps

Great USB-C to ethernet adapter
This USB-C ethernet adapter seems to be a great ethernet adapter for any mobile device with a USB-C port. The USB-C plug fits a USB-C port well and the ethernet jack fits an ethernet cord well. The adapter cable seems durable, yet flexible and allows the user to position the adapter any way that works best for the computer and ethernet cord. After testing this USB-C ethernet adapter, I found that the adapter was able to reach the 2.5Gbps speed advertised. Overall, this USB-C ethernet adapter seems to work well for a wide range of uses and is able to reach the advertised 2.5Gbps speeds. This adapter would be a handy adapter to keep in a backpack or travel case and will make large file transfers quick and easy.

Works to spec and allows a Quest 3 to connect with an Ethernet cable.
MANUFACTURE PACKAGING ADEQUATEâYESâNOALL PRODUCT ACCESSORIES INCLUDED AND FUNCTIONALâYESâNOPRODUCT AESTHETICS AS ADVERTISEDâYESâNOPRODUCT FUNCTIONALITY AS ADVERTISEDâYESâNOPRODUCT DURABILITY AS ADVERTISED (INITIAL)âYESâNOPRODUCT DURABILITY AS ADVERTISED (LONG TERM*)âYESâNOâNOT YET DETERMINED*LONG TERM DURABILITY WILL BE UPDATED IF PRODUCT DISPLAYS A NOTABLE ISSUE.The product is well made and functions as specified. I am using this adapter to attach an Ethernet cable and external USB power bank to provide passthrough power to a Quest 3 and use Steam Link or Virtual Desktop to connect to my PC, for that purpose it works well. The only issue I encountered is that occasionally the connection drops when plugging in the USB power bank -before- the Ethernet cable. This issue appears intermittently so I do not know if it is an issue with the adapter, the Q3 or the power bank but if I plug the power bank in -after- I have established an Ethernet connection with Q3 everything appears to work fine.Overall, the device works perfectly for my use case scenario and I hope it continues to do so, if it fails prematurely or Meta removes the Q3 Ethernet option I will report back.

Great network speed upgrade for usb-C devices!
This simple plug and play 2.5 Gbps ethernet adapter works great on my 2018 Macbook Pro! I love that I can quickly transfer files inside of my local network. This speed exceeds my ISP speeds. But, for internal LAN connectivity, it is great!

Good speed when it works, but picky on where it works
Plugged in got it to sync up to my 2.5gb hub and it’s pushing a solid 1.7-2.1 gb/s but the device itself has issues when it has to share the bus with another device. The speed starts to drop off when I plug in a USB-C to HDMI to power my portable monitor. This leaves the device very limited to how you use it. It’s probably ok to use it on a server for an additional network connection for faster file server access. I only recommend this if you plan not to plug anything other device on the same bus.

The USB-C to Ethernet adapter is exactly what I was looking for.
I got this USB-C to Ethernet adapter for my MacBook Air, which only has USB-C ports. I was looking for a small, high-speed, and reliable Ethernet adapter to take with me when traveling, and this fits my requirements perfectly.I also wanted something compatible with my iPad Pro, which has a USB-C port, and this adapter works great. It even has a 100W charging port on the side. Just plug your charger into the USB-C port marked âPDâ on the side of the adapter (see attached pictures), and your device will charge while connected to a wired network. The adapterâs body and the USB-C connector are made of aluminum, and the rest is plastic, but the quality is excellent. It feels like a high-quality product. Iâve included a photo with the adapter next to an iPhone so you can see its size.I have done several tests with my two computers and the iPad Pro, and the results were as expected. I was getting speeds close to 1Gbps, as advertised. Itâs exactly what I was looking for.

This is a 2.5Gbps USB network adapter. It’s a Realtek chipset. I’m not sure if there is another chipset.I have a few different brands, and they all work very well, always after a few tweaks in Windows 11.You need to increase buffers, turn off all the “green” stuff, turn off EEE,There is a pile of things in the driver that makes it slow. You can use it as is, it’s fine, just not “top speed”.OR you can google for a guide to tweak USB 2.5Gbps Ethernet Adapter.Once all the silly options are turned off, you will get great solid transfer rates ð

If you’ve ever needed to wire in because of weak wifi signals, but only have a single usb-c port on your laptop, you’ll love this device.Once you connect it to your port, there’s an additional usb-c port on it’s side that you can plug your power source into, and then connect your ethernet cable at the end and you’ve solved two issues. In testing, I get max speed transfers with this adapter, and I’ve yet to have an issue with it. Fantastic product.

I have a baseball livestream that depends heavily on the router shown in picture 3. I normally hook the router wired to the Internet Modem at our home field, but when I take it on the road, sometimes there is no Modem to hook up to. So, I tried some wireless solutions and some Hotspot solutions, but nothing would allow me to get the same functionality real wired Internet, and this router will provide.I said to myself, âSelf, why not make the cellphone WIRED and connect to the Router that way â enter this USB C to Ethernet Adapter with 100W Charging Port from the Aibilangose Store. My best advice is to get it working directly on your PC. This allows you to better understand the connection process without the Router getting in the way. First you must turn on Ethernet Tethering on your cellular device (on an Android device, it’s a toggle found in Settings, Network and Internet, Hotspot and Tethering). Once you get it working on your PC, just unplug it from your PC and plug it into the Internet port on your Router (not LAN (Local Area Network) 1, LAN 2, etc.) on your router. I think some routers also call it a WAN (Wide Area Network) Port. They just connect to your wireless router as always and your devices are being fed by cellular data. Now I haven’t tried this in the real world yet, but I mocked it up here in the house. Despite not having very high upload rates (about 4 to 6 Mbps), it tested well on the OBS auto configuration tool and flowed smoothly under controlled conditions inside the house. I “should” be able to achieve at lease 10 Mbps based on speed tests done on the phone itself, so I’m going to keep working at it.Once I get a chance to test it in the real world, I will update the post. This would be a 5 if I could get a better upload speed, so when I re-review it, the Star Rating may increase. Honestly, it’s likely not the cableâs fault. It’s likely my Cellular Data or my cell phone settings at work. There’s a learning curve for everything and I always enjoy the ride!

I have one of those REALLY dumb Dell laptops for work that has a flip-down ‘caddy’ that holds the ethernet cable in. It recently fell off my lap, while I was sitting on the floor, and the caddy snapped off. Unfortunately, the caddy itself is built into the bottom of the laptop chasis meaning the only way to keep the ethernet cable plugged in is to HOLD the damn thing in place. That’s where this USB to ethernet adapter has saved my butt. It’s small, it APPARENTLY has pass-through charging (which I haven’t tried yet), but most importantly, it turns one of my two USB-C ports into a ethernet port and works EXACTLY like it should. The most awesome part is that its super small, allowing me to carry it in my work-pouch. 5 stars!
