The Victor Electronic Mouse Trap uses innovative technology to deliver a humane, high-voltage shock, eliminating mice in seconds. To use, simply apply bait in the built-in bait cup, place the trap along the wall near signs of rodent activity, and turn it on. Advanced smart circuit technology senses when a mouse enters the tunnel, triggering the system to deliver a shock. Once fully inside the tunnel, beveled columns keep the mouse in place over the plates, ensuring a 100% kill rate if used as directed with fully charged batteries. After a catch, an LED light blinks green, so you know when it’s time to empty the trap without having to check the chamber. When the batteries are low, the LED light will flash red. For your convenience, the trap’s design allows for No-See, No-Touch rodent disposal. Plus, the tunnel design and built-in safety switch, which deactivates the trap when opened, helps to protect children and pets. Laboratory testing was performed in the Woodstream Animal Laboratory on May 19th of 2017 confirming 100% kill rate of mice with the Victor Electronic Mouse trap. Testing was performed on multiple traps, each using a new, fresh set of alkaline batteries. Laboratory testing was performed on multiple traps, successfully dispatching (30) mice. All tests resulted in a confirmed kill of the tested mouse.
100% Kill Rate – Beveled columns also help to keep the mouse in place over the trigger plate to prevent escapes
Humane, High-Voltage Shock – Once inside, the circuit triggers a high-voltage shock, humanely killing the mouse in seconds
LED Alerts – A green LED light notifies you of a catch, so you know when it’s time to empty the trap without having to check manually
For Indoor Use – Place the trap along the wall in areas of your home or business where you’ve seen rodent activity
No-See, No-Touch disposal of rodents
Requires 4 “AA” batteries (not included)

Great Mouse Trap
I wasn’t sure if this would be a better mouse trap, but it has worked great. It is easy to setup without getting your fingers snapped by the wire on a traditional mouse trap. I placed this in an area where the signs of a mouse and armed the mouse trap. This mouse trap uses batteries, and arming the mouse trap is easy too you just flip a switch on top and the light will blink and then go off. I came back the next day the mouse trap light was blinking on and off indicating it tripped. It got the mouse. The best part is no mess or fuss. You open the top and dispose of the mouse without touching it. It’s got 2 so far.

If it’s a choice between my pets and them…
I hate having to even use these but if it’s a choice between keeping my pets safe from disease and my home free from mouse droppings I will choose this route every time. And there’s no way I’d use any other device- While my ultimate preference would be a no-kill trap and release, they’d only make their way back and I’m sorry… I can’t jump in the car and drive them a mile or two away every time I catch one. The snap traps aren’t a guarantee- There’s a chance it will land on a leg, which they’ll chew off. Or it won’t kill them and they’ll lay there in pain and the very thought of that makes me incredibly sad. The glue traps- Same thing or they’ll suffer for days before they die. Same with the poison (that’s not immediate). Or the 5 gallon buckets they climb into and supposedly can’t get out of, which alternatively can be filled with water… Drowning? No thank you. At least these devices let them pass pretty much instantaneously. Again, I HATE even having to do this but of all of the other options this seems the most humane (outside of setting them free but like I said… I just cannot get in a car each time and drive them a mile or two away). And these traps work EVERY_TIME. Less than a week after we found where they were getting in, ‘Great Stuff Pest Control’ foam was applied to seal up some holes and a couple of these were set up (one in the basement ceiling tiles and another on the main floor where they were coming up through the exterior plumbing / electrical holes that were never sealed… Mouse problem COMPLETELY_GONE. I live in the woods and fully expect a random ‘visitor’ to find *somewhere* to get in…. Eventually. But I know these traps will take care of the problem and it won’t get out of control- Because it can very quickly otherwise.

Mouse:1 Me:0 (so far)…..it’s now 2 to 1 … (See newest update on refills.)
I purchased three of these for different areas (open back porch, garage and open front porch). Arrived in 4 hours (amazing!). Easy to set up and intuitive. Also easy to empty (if there was a mouse….). I like the design. No poison and the deceased mouse is enclosed, so my dog won’t start to use it like a stuffed toy. Perfect! So far the trap worked very fast. First mouse encounter within 3 hours. Set it against a wall, just as recommended. Green light flash. BINGO! First rodent casualty. Took the electrocution chamber off, went to the disposal area, opened the door…and what did I find? Bait gone…and a pile of mouse poop. No mouse.I think that I created a Franken-mouse. A few hundred volts didn’t phase my little rodent…except to blow the poop out of him. I swear that when I went to dump the chamber there was a high pitched laugh from the corner of the patio. Maybe it’s just my imagination.Oh well. It was easy to clean out. Reload and replace.Watch out critter. I haven’t given up yet. Will update this review in the future. Gotta run. Quasimodo-mouse is knocking at the door.Update – about 5 days. Frankenmouse:2 Me: 0 It’s not looking good for this product.fOk. Update #2. It’s now Frankenmouse 2, Me:1 Seemed pretty effective. Let’s see how it performs with a re-loaded bait chamber. (Easy to empty and reload). Because of the updated score, I bumped this up to 4 stars!Final update #3: These traps seem to have “hit a rhythm” and I have been successful in getting a number of mice. I didn’t keep count, but it’s more than 6 or 7. In fact, on our porch, I once got TWO mice at the same time.Overall, I really like these traps. Easy to set and ignore…until the light goes on. Then they are easy to empty, and I put them where a local hawk can get the critter….better than tossing them away. (and there is no poison that I need to worry about). Overall I bumped these up to 5 stars! With that, I will end my review of this product.Update…..Ok, I am a full believer. With three traps strategically placed on our porches, I have caught probably a dozen or more mice. I give the full contraption a 5 Star rating.HOWEVER, I had to buy some refills for the trap chamber. (I won’t tell you why…), and I saw both after market versions and the more expensive “original” chambers. Based on reviews, I went with the far more expensive “original” replacement chambers.Well, they seem to work ok, but don’t fit quite as well as the original chambers of the full trap. Plus….the traps do NOT have the “vector” image in the plastic top. I suspect that these are NOT original vector trap chamber replacements and are aftermarket products.Given that, I would probably try the less expensive aftermarket versions (they are a lot less expensive). But overall, I still think this is a great trap.

Works great on small mice.
This thing just works! It’s a much improved design over the original Victor trap. It’s pretty easy to use and battery replacement is easier with this version. I initially avoided this because I thought the trap chambers were single use and you needed a new one every time. You can throw out the trap chamber if disposing of dead mice give you the heebie jeebies, or you can just clean out the trap and reuse like I did. If the chamber gets really grungy then toss it and slap on a new one. The trap isn’t that big so it’s not for larger rodents, but for your typical house mouse, it’s an easy buy.

Notwithstanding the range of reviews these are the best traps Iâve tried to date. They are very effective dispatching a mouse and a green light flashes to show the trap has been activated. Thought should be given to placement but if one follows the accompanying instructions you should be successful.

Unfortunately this trap was only a trap for my money :(I have clear signs of mice in my house and I have tried using this trap all ways possible. It is almost as if the rats are laughing at you with it.I have tried several times with the recommended bait (peanut butter), and it didnât work. Then I realized the rats were always going towards my dogâs treats, so I decided to place one on the bait tray – result: no dead mice and NO BAIT LEFT! They managed to get in and out with the bait and still aliveâ¦. Waste of money.
