Horrible Button Placement
While the monitor output for this model is decent, the location of the buttons on the back side in the middle was a really poor design choice. Turning on the monitor or accessing the OSD Menu to it set up is a real chore. What was wrong with them being on the bottom of the monitor?

Excellent Monitor
I use these in combination with a docking station to set up generic 3 monitor work stations. So far I have set up at least 20 work stations. Meaning I have purchased and installed 60 of these monitors. Not one problem with any of them. For mixed office use they work great.

Back control buttons not working. Update: It was not the monitors but a faulty RAM stick.
[Updated below] Back control buttons not working. Only power button. Monitor turns on. 3 birds appear then it states No Signal and turns off. No other buttons work. Cannot assign input source in OSD. Strongly looking like I will return these. I should be able to assign the input source even if computer is turned off or monitors are unplugged. I have to say that I do not like the idea of all the trouble and time to do the return. This is going to effect future purchases. My last 2 monitors were in 2013 they were excellent the [Viewsonic VX2450WM-LED 24-Inch (23.6-Inch Vis) Widescreen LED Monitor with Full HD 1080p and Speakers – Black] I couldn’t wait to get another pair. But strongly disliking the math problem everyday so far to get them to work.Update: It turned out that it was not the monitors it was a faulty RAM stick that would not permit the computer to boot and was not allowing recognition of the monitors.

USPS cannot keep up.
I ordered thirty of these monitors. The monitors are fine; they’re beautiful, exactly what we expected, and we have had no problems with them yet. The problem was that it took nine days to get them all because Amazon shipped them using USPS. The delivery date kept getting put off. I had frustrating calls to Support for help, and finally got a local USPS Supervisor on the phone. He told me they couldn’t deliver on time because there was no room on the truck. Finally, over a two day period they were finally delivered. We have these issues often with USPS, and never with FedEx or UPS. Clearly USPS does not have the capacity to manage the additional load that Amazon has entrusted to them.

I like it a lot, but….
This replaced a 22″ Viewsonic that I have had for many years but is got fried by lightning strike. I like quality, setup is a bit challenging but do-able. Only thing I dislike is the tinny audio speakers. the old 22″ where much better. I am using it on a Mac laptop OS.10.14.5

So just received this product and got it all set up. Took a bit of playing around to get it set up to my needs and liking, but the picture quality is now excellent. I don’t do any gaming so can’t comment on that aspect of this monitor, but for viewing documents, surfing etc. it is very nice. Large bright clear screen which is much better than my old monitor. However, where this monitor really falls down is the sound quality. My 10 year old monitor with built in speakers is magnitudes better in sound quality. This monitor is virtually unusable for anything where sound is required. It sounds like a cheap transistor radio from the 1960s. While I didn’t expect audiophile quality sound, I did expect it to be better than it is. If it had even the sound quality of my 10 year old monitor I would have given this monitor a 4, maybe 5 star rating. But as it is, the best I can give it is a 3. I have now had to order speakers as this thing will be virtually unusable without them. As far as I am concerned, if a company can’t include a minimally usable feature on their product, don’t even bother trying to include that feature. If I had known the speakers were this bad, I would have either looked elsewhere or just ordered separate speakers at the same time as ordering this monitor. If you are OK with vintage transistor radio sound then this would be a good buy. Otherwise, you might want to get a different monitor, or at a minimum get yourself some speakers. If you already have speakers or don’t require sound, from only a viewing/visuals perspective this monitor is certainly well worth considering.

Didn’t even get to the point of even turning it on, you can’t adjust this screen at all: it’s very low, and angles inwards (down) by default, with no swivels, height adjustment or any way of tilting the screen. Returning now.
