A great way to save space and charge your Joy-Cons!
Not long ago, I reviewed the FYY Switch Joycon Charger, an adapter that attaches to a standard Nintendo Switch dock or Nintendo Switch OLED model dock and adds additional charging ports for additional Joy-Cons beyond the two directly attached to your Nintendo Switch. In that review, I said that FYY’s adapter worked, but had some issues – namely, that it felt flimsy and fragile. The Mes Merry Wall Mount with Charging Station aims to do much the same as FYY’s adapter, but with the added selling point of being a wall mount for your Nintendo Switch. Having limited space myself, I’ve recently found a lot of value in the space-saving appeal of wall mounts, but for something like a wall mount, it’s even more important that the hardware is sturdy – it is, after all, the one thing keeping your expensive Nintendo Switch (not to mention your dock and Joy-Cons) from a potentially-damaging fall.To be clear, the Mes Merry Wall Mount with Charging Station includes the wall mount with built-in Joy-Con charger, screws and screw anchors to mount it, and an instruction manual. You’re expected to provide your own Nintendo Switch dock or Nintendo Switch OLED dock, along with the cables, Joy-Cons, and the Nintendo Switch itself. Your dock nestles nicely into the mount, with the mount taking up one of the USB ports on the dock’s left side in order to power the Joy-Con charging ports. You won’t be losing a USB port, though, as the mount provides a pass-through USB port on its right side near the front, which I feel to be a pretty decent spot to put a port. The entire mount is one piece as opposed to the FYY adapter’s three, and it’s also made of a pretty solid metal instead of FYY’s plastic. And while it is a mount, you needn’t use it as such – you can opt to just leave it sitting on a flat surface and just make use of the Joy-Con chargers. However, both in this situation and when mounted on a wall, the Mes Merry mount feels very sturdy, and even though the Nintendo Switch dock could theoretically slide out on the right side of the unit, the attached USB port does a good job keeping it in place, even if you jostle it a bit while sliding your Nintendo Switch into it.Well… there is one part of it that still feels a bit flimsy, and that is the way your Joy-Cons sit in the front part of the adapter, sliding only the bottom part of the controller into one of the four slots on the front (left and right Joy-Cons can slide into any slots interchangeably). It works, but they wiggle around a bit if you nudge them, which doesn’t seem ideal. Each of these slots has a small light next to it, showing blue if there is no attached Joy-Con or if the Joy-Con is fully-charged, or showing red if it’s charging. Finally, topping things off, the Mes Merry Wall Mount with Charging Station has a small hook on either side from which you can dangle a few more Joy-Cons attached to a connected strap. I’ll note that unlike FYY’s adapter, there’s no storage here for Nintendo Switch game cards, so this is a bit of a trade-off.Still, overall I find the Mes Merry Wall Mount with Charging Station to be a far superior take on the concept of upgrading your Nintendo Switch dock to be a Joy-Con charging station as well. Not only is this device much more solidly-built, but its additional functionality as a mall mount makes it even more useful. But even if you don’t want to use this extra functionality, I still think this is an all-around better device, with the lack of Nintendo Switch game card storage, and the fact that Joy-Cons don’t feel very firmly held in the unit being the only downsides. However, if you’re looking for a way to charge extra Joy-Cons without taking up too much more space, this is an excellent add-on that’s well worth picking up.

Keeps my Switch gear organized
I’ve accumulated a bunch of joy con controllers and wanted one place to store all of my Switch accessories and my console. This unit has worked out perfectly for housing all of my controllers and the console. I’ve started wall mounting most of my gaming consoles because it keeps them out of the way and organized. This company has done a great job at producing a durable and practical solution for keeping track of your switch and joy cons.

Good way to keep everything organized with a Switch
I didn’t end up mounting this on the wall but just kept it next to the TV. I like how it keeps everything compact and organized. The switch and the controllers all fit very well with it. I have one of the OLED ones.

Great storage solution
This switch holder is a great storage solution for those of us with limited space. We have ours actually hanging behind the TV, it’s great. It keeps our controllers charged and has everything easily accessible. I highly recommend.

Awesome charging station
We were looking for a compact charging station for our many controllers for the Nintendo Switch and this little gadget worked like a charm! The nice bonus is that it can be bolted to the wall if necessary to save space.
