Works better than the built in Mac Cinema connection, when connecting to 1Gb network
Love it, it worked right out of the box and has great performance.
Francisco Llanas –
Works, but note about Surface Pro 8 and 9
Not a bad adapter. It is well built, but a little pricey considering what it is.Got no mention on whether or not it works for PXE booting PC’s so I figured I’d give it a try.in Windows and on any device I tried it with; It works just fine and is speedy. It is limited by the port it’s connected to; If you connect it to a high speed port; it’s going to be super-fast. If you connect it to a port that is not high speed; it’s not going to be super-fast. It does what it says! For our application; we needed it to see if we could use it to PXE boot Surface pro 8’s and 9’s. Unfortunately it doesn’t work. I believe it’s something to do with Microsoft purposely blocking stuff they don’t make. (since Microsoft’s USB-C to Ethernet adapter has been out of stock for a year and a half, I don’t hold out hope they will make any more)Thanks Microsoft for continuing to sell surfaces, but not an easy way to PXE image them! Guess we have no choice but to image through an MS Docking station *SIGH*

Works well.
Works well so far
Ron Mendoza –
Works exactly as expected, providing 2.5GbE connectivity to various devices
This USB adapter works great on various devices ranging from the Galaxy S23 Ultra, to a Pixel 8 Pro, to a MacBook Air M2, to an iPad Pro, and even the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I was surprised that both Android devices did not have high throughput even though the link speed was 2.5Gb; perhaps Android isn’t optimized for Ethernet. The price is great, and now that 2.5GbE network switches have come down in price, definitely worth consideration.

Didn’t work on my PC
My motherboard states that it can handle 2GPS speeds but it would not recognize it as a 2gb controller…I gave up bought 3 not (usb to ethernet adapters not one worked)

Creat a wired ethernet connection
Sometimes you need to connect directly via an ethernet cable, and pretty much all laptops no longer have an ethernet port on them. This allows that direct connection.

Hat sofort problemlos mit Dell XPS13 funktioniert

This didn’t work I used another one to make sure it wasn’t my cable which worked great. I chose more expensive one as I thought it would be better quality but no waste of money.
